Yea, I didn't want it to conflict with the DRTL group stages, so the correct date is the 25th. Lineups due by the 18th (specifically 168 hours prior to match time). Finals then are on February 8th.
Made a spreadsheet for all of this so I don't get lost in my head with dates in the future.

Currently, Hwaiting Oz is having problems to find a 5th player for the playoffs. We've been struggling to field a complete lineup for the entirety of round 2, since 2 of us decided to move away from D-ranked events after round 1. We managed to get a few new players for the 2nd round nevertheless, but it seems that now all of them have lost interest in bw. I will keep trying to find somebody from the team who wants to play in the playoffs, but chances are this won't be possible. For the sake of our players who have played all season long though, we can't give a wo in the playoffs.
Right now there are two options for us to get a 5th player.
1. I (rulzbooom) return for the playoffs.
2. TheMarine plays Zerg in the playoffs for us.
TheMarine was supposed to be playing on Hwaiting Oz before the season started but he hit C with protoss right before that. However, I feel like there is no doubt that his zerg is nowhere close to his protoss skill and certainly not above the league average. I'd strongly prefer letting him play rather than me. I think that it would be much better for the integrity of the league to have a player who without a doubt fits the skill criteria for DRTL.
The problem however, is that technically I am still eligible to play even though I hit C mid-season while he would be a special case. So L_master suggested that I make a poll and ask what the other teams think about the situation.

He is perfectly eligible to play, as he started the season as an eligible player. Even if he had hit A- he would still be permitted to play as players get to finish the season.
The reason he is asking if the Marine can play instead is that he does feel he is too strong for DRTL and is trying to do what he feels is the more equitable thing. As far as the Marine goes, I played his zerg about a month ago and it was definitely weak, as I won easy with my offrace terran. That was a month ago, but at that stage I don't think he was even D+ with it yet.

Although somewhat off-topic, I don't think just because TheMarine loses a ZvT means that his Zerg is weak. ZvT is fairly a difficult matchup to play, whereas ZvP is preferably more favored towards Zerg. Of course, there can be exceptions with Zerg players having a stronger ZvT than a ZvP, or a Protoss player having a stronger PvZ than a PvT, despite PvT being slightly favorable towards Protoss, such as Lmaster (although I believe he said he thought his PvZ was his strongest matchup).
So yeah, just saying, just because TheMarine lost a ZvT doesn't mean he has bad ZvP/ZvZ. As for eligibility, I agree that TheMarine's skill level with Zerg is far off from his Protoss, and if RulzBoooM started the season and voluntarily left, he's still eligible to some degree to play, although as a Courage player who's playing Hwaiting Oz in the playoffs, I would rather he not play... T_T

I strongly urge you to reconsider this desicion.
No team has any disadvantage from the lineups being posted a bit late and the two or so hours certainly won't impact any player's ability to practice. Objectively, the only problem is that you had to wait longer and bother with us so we submit the lineups. For this I'm sorry. However, giving penalties in the playoffs is a complete joke. Not to mention that pretty much all people affected by this punishment are the ones that are not at fault.
