Haha, this one word reply got me laughing a lot, actually, lol... "NAW".
Question, I thought ImAtTheBeach was in Aruba, and you were in the States..?

I live with the kid and I can vouch that he had no way of being online on time due to a family situation, it's not just him being lazy or disrespectful. He has Skype on his phone and he is pretty much free any time in the next few days, so why not just leave it as a possibility as opposed to straight denying him? I feel like the series has the potential to be one of the best in DRIT (I see you both as title contenders), it'd be a shame for you guys to not play and for you to advance on a technicality. To be honest, I feel like well over half the the tournament strikes me as "guys who could win it all". Naw Haha, this one word reply got me laughing a lot, actually, lol... "NAW". Of course but I really wanted to give it a shot at a D ranks individual tournament, and getting "eliminated" without a fair game was not what I expected. I believe I'm extremely flexible when it comes to letting people reschedule their games with me & as mentioned, have showed up on time for every match before yesterday. Karma ain't fair. T_T

I understand that you are busy with your life, but to say that "when it was not his decision to not come on time" is a little ridiculous on your part. I'm sorry, but you're not the only one with a "real life". I had to come back home after dealing with some intense family bullshit that kind of fucked up the entire process of me showing up by 2 PM. But whatever, good luck in the rest of the tournament. To the administrators of the league: Please indicate that a walkover was claimed, and not a 0-2 loss defeat.

If I can input my own opinion... The fact that ghrur took a walkover is extremely unfortunate, because as a spectator, I really wanted to watch the two play. But, there's always two sides to this. One side, a player was willing to wait past the deadline, out of the own goodness of his heart, and waited long enough that it interfered with his own personal matters. The other side, it was unexpected and it was a personal matter, which should be excused in that family matter should come over a computer game. Unfortunately, rules are rules, and as ImAtTheBeach didn't show up on time, ghrur is allowed to take the walkover, and it's his decision to reschedule, although it looks like he's busy on Monday, which means that that would be past the deadline in which Ro16 should all be played. And also, don't forget to turn in reps at drits5@yahoo.com I hope Arca and icedraco have played their games...

He already outlined specifically every obligation interfering with his schedule (every one of which he conquered temporarily for Beach's sake), so if all you have to say is that the things he needs to do are not "plausible" I guess we just have issues with trust or reality. All your other quotes are hypothetical motivations, but no evidence or fact connects ghrur to such assumptions at all. Unless you produce an actual argument that ghrur is out to take free wins or whatever, all this talk is pointless trash. "Unwilling to wait 40" also seems to frame the issue in terms of... ghrur being stingy with 10 minutes. That deflects discussion from the larger issue of: ghrur already sacrificed upwards of an hour for nothing. He can't play Starcraft at his residence, so he had to commute to a different location just to play this. He has no obligation, moral-wise/rule-wise/courtesy-wise or whatever, to cater to the whims of someone who already stood him up for an hour.

I guess that takes it out of my ability to appreciate the situation, since I'd never sign up for a tour (which has PP and other such potential issues, as demonstrated by season upon season of DRTL and DRIT), without consistent internet access :/
