In past leagues there have always been activity/size problems, and having a full roster takes care of that and helps guard against it. 10 is really the minimum size per team I want to see as I would much rather see 6 teams of 10-12 than I would 8 or 9 teams of 8. TAKK specifically is quite large, but has 2-3 that are pretty inactive. Throw in a few people that get busy each week and you are down to the bare minimum that might be needed. | ||

Maybe I misunderstood you, I took that as "A limit for team size should be 10" Yea I wasn't clear. I was okay with a limit of 12-14, but think an ideal size is minimum of 10. Usually one or two go inactive, and another one or two won't show any given day, so that should be good for 6-7 players on gameday. Bigger teams also make it easier to get "in house" practice. | ||

Can bigsandwich88 join? He's a D+ zerg player who is a great coach for dranks. He's really nice, positive, willing to practice and play a ton of games and will help everyon. He also wont play ace matches if its deemed unfair. I think considering many of the exceptions DRTL made for players who could now hit C to stay in the DRTL, I think it wouldn't be a big deal. The reason he would rather play then coach is because coaching sucks for a lot of reasons. No one listens to you, everyone bitches and expects you to be able to solve all of there problems, your roll diminishes as the league continues, and playing is more fun. EDIT: As a coach everyone expects you to help them. As a player you can help everyone and you don't have to deal with people bitching at you to say some sort of magic combination of words that they think will transform them into a better player. | ||

There are players here with much better stats than that, so I doubt he's too good. | ||

DeSPA had 3 active players. Freedom, more or less, had just me. That's 4 players... It's not anyone's fault that the players were inactive, it was just bad timing as it was December and everyone was studying or going back home to see their families. 4 isn't exactly half of the D-ranks community. O.o The reason I joined TAKK was because I didn't wanna have to take anymore responsibility of being captain, as like puppykiller pointed out in a post above, it's hard being captain. One person can hardly force completely strangers to actually take time out to play in a game (Not that I'm trying to bash on my own teammates in Freedom saying that they weren't listening to me). I just brought along Exy because I asked the members from Freedom if they would want to play another season together, and most of them said no as it'd get even busier for them, and Exy wanted to play, and I didn't wanna leave him in the cold, so I brought him along. Not everyone is gonna get to play anyways... We're all aware that there are going to be weeks when some of us can't play, while some of us probably won't play for several weeks. If the lack of playtime really becomes an issue, and it probably will, we'll think of something to do. | ||
