I see no Terrans(proper) have qualified directly and there are so far 2 in the points ranking and 1 invited. All I can say about that is that I'm not surprised, but the matchup stats are wild! What's up with the Zerg domination, LOL? Would have expected more 1a2a3aprotossimbanoobrace than what we have. This tournament is looking a lot like WOL.

I have a question about that if any of the higher ups of TL/TLS admins and organizers are around here:
Did you ever consider slight balance adjustments? Nothing to say about it, really, but the lack of Terran must have been predicted beforehand. Koreans might be super gifted, maybe APM is a bit taboo in foreigner communities, but there is nobody who can play this race properly.
I'm posting on twoplustwo because I have always been amazed at the level of talent that populates this site --- it's almost unparalleled on the Internet.

Perhaps for the next TLS there could be 1 terran favored map to balance the scale. This is not korean BW but foreign where map balance is bit different.

Andrey qualified directly by getting into the finals (but not winning it) and he's Terran. But regardless, the reason why there are so few terrans is because right now the best foreign players are zerg. If you look at 3 years ago when TSL2 happened, terrans were much better represented, especially at the very top level:

We just need some of those oldschool terrans to come back. A pipe dream, I know, since most of these players moved on to SC2.

Electric circuit is one of the best tvz maps... I don't think we can give them any more help, its just that there are not enough terrans these days. Also, only 4 pure tosses qualified (Doty was invited) so the Terran representation isn't that bad.

Foreign scene is dominated by zergs atm. Sziky, Technics, Trutacz, Ace, Eonzerg, Bakuryu all very strong players...

That's a very cool ladder. I guess it was specifically for TSL, but it would be kinda cool if we had an auto-updating ladder results from iCCup on TL again. It might help people know who's at the top of the foreign community (minus those that play predominately on other servers like Fisk, etc.) Probably too much work for a 'nice to have' feature. But it would be pretty cool.

Pro7ect is back to rape zergs! We got to get mazur to also start playing again so that we have another strong player who can consistantly kill top-tier zergs!
