Thank you for the suggestion though, I do appreciate it and if there is anything that anyone feels is missing, feel free to let me know. DAY -6 EVENT: The first day of registration is over and we currently have 17 confirmed players and 2 applicants that require further information in order to be eligible (you know who you are!). Just 6 more days to go! I'm very excited and look forward to more applicants as well as more suggestions for this league. Because this league isn't super-duper serious and is RANDOM, I think it's okay to be flexible in matters that could benefit the league. That being said, this is one thing I wanted to spring on you all by surprise (somewhat; it's mentioned in the OP), but I think it might be better if I get your input first. At least once a week during the ladder stage there will be a random event. The random event will work like this: I will have a few options number 1 through X, and then I will randomly generate a number and that event will occur. Instead of forcing them upon you and suffering the chance that they might be universally hated (although that might put a dark twist on this league haha xD), I will let you vote and make suggestions! ** = Please consider the fact that having too many super-strong events could alter the league too much, and that having weaker events dilutes the chances of the stronger ones occurring, making them more special!! 1. Random alias revealed + Show Spoiler [Poll] + 2. Random (small) number of points awarded to random player + Show Spoiler [Poll] + 3. Random (small) number of points taken away from random player + Show Spoiler [Poll] + 4. Random potential caster for tournament main revealed** + Show Spoiler [Poll] + 5. In-depth etymology and definition of a random player smurf name.** + Show Spoiler [Poll] + 6. Points tournament at a random time that day + Show Spoiler [Poll] + 7. Random picture/MS Paint drawing.** + Show Spoiler [Poll] + 8. Random rule gets voted upon that day, up for alteration/removal. + Show Spoiler [Poll] + These are the ones I have come up with so far. DAY 0 EVENT As today is the first day of the Ladder Stage, I have randomly decided to make the day upon which this first random event occurs to be non-random, in other words, today. [PS: You have no idea how hard it is to structure sentences with so much randomness x_x] Today's randomly generated event is 3, the Poll Event (would have been random removal of points, good thing we snipped that in the bud!). For this first event, I would like you to all choose what your favorite randomly generated alias is! I find etymology and words to be very interesting, and I am also interested in what words appeal to people. It can be the most badass, the silliest, or the most random one; whichever is your favorite! PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT There have been at least 3 players online today in the first hour just at different times! Unfortunately due to our relatively small playerbase (for now), games will be harder to find, but be patient, the games will come ^^; One idea: if you host a game, even when no one's online, then people can join when they log on (make the games RSL1/1 for example), and then it's a matter of you both looking at the screen at the same time.
