The D/C type stuff make sense, most of those players aren't good enough for high level tours and obviously aren't invited to play GC/NW/etc. It's nice for those people to get a chance to play in a "competitive" environment once in a while. I think most of the other tours mentioned are individually sponsored things. I.e. in case of zz/tt/pp tours I believe Ribbon had the money and personally wanted to see what would happen given his unique restrictions. BWMN is sponsored by BWMN themselves and I believe the same is true of BGH (internally sponsored by BGH community). We still have NW, and presumably at some point GC, which at least in theory should be good team tours. Eywa's Winter LAN had/has the potential be be a really great tour, but it's uncertain whether or not that is going to come together nicely or fizzle out as a dud. It has been awhile since ISL3, though some delay between truly top quality tours is expected as raising multiple thousands is not necessarily an easy task. Basically, the TL;DR is that the small tournaments are individual sponsored, and we are basically waiting for the big organizers to get another "mega" tour going. | ||

Edit: I am by no means taking full credit for any of the tours I helped sponsor above. Those were just used as an example and I just helped a marginal amount. | ||

Edit: I also never said you were crying, I was simply stating you were complaining...nothing wrong with complaining. edit: this is about complaints, I understand sziky's viewpoint but we don't have the community strength to really fix anything unless we get some huge momentum swing and I agree a bit that these all tours are not so great but at least they are entertaining and for fun.
