Flash played awfully that last game. In the early game he had numerous chances to take a significant advantage, then just throws it by letting himself get flanked by Zealots. He might have been able to accumulate a large enough advantage at that point that he could just win with a timing push.
Afterwards he makes only tanks and no vultures. I was thinking he would lose it the moment he overcommitted to the place behind bisus base, but Bisu tried to break it instead of counterattacking. However, flash kept doing that, with NO vultures and NO proper defenses at home, and so Bisu was going to win the second he decided to counterattack. Flash couldn't even go for a base race himself after seeing Bisu countering him because he was at a terrible position behind Bisu's base where he couldn't access the actually important parts of Bisus base fast enough to deal any kind of significant damage.
Especially the part where he snipes core and then makes a total of 0 vultures against the only unit Bisu could possibly make was just unbelievable.
Flash definitely wasn't in form again. I believe that sending out Hoejja would have given KT better chances of victory.
this is such a warped perception it's unreal.
he did take a significant advantage in the early game which is WHY he was able to push out with pure tanks and actually get behind bisu's main. do you think that ever happens when the game is even or protoss is ahead?
right before the zealots hit his main, flash was so far ahead. think of it in terms of the flash vs fantasy game earlier. the zealot rush was equivalent to flash's desperate doom drop. that's how fast the game tilted.

3rd went unchecked and flash didn't have any vulture after he destroyed bisu's cyber for some reason..
had nothing to do with the third being unchecked. bisu was just forced to make chargelots and blindly wins
It had everything to do with the 3rd unchecked. Bisu would not have had enough minerals to build that many zealots if not for the third. And Flash y u no make vultures?!
Seriously, three vultures when Bisu backdoored Flash with the Zealots would have made all the difference.
Methinks Bisu got to Flash's head with all the multitasking.

Flash's mechanical play seemed much improved in the ace match, his reactions were slow against Fanta. But strategically in the game against Bisu he just didn't play correctly. Pushed out in the open far too early, in the confines of his nat and main he traded beautifully against those lots.

LAST GAME WRITE-UP please gogo LITTLE SYNOPSIS
Like a short summary?
Fast zeals good on this map because of the reverse ramp, so bisu tried for proxy
Gas steal to ensure late factories, then manner pylon so that Flash would have 1 more thing to worry about while microing against zeals
Flash went double rax because it was the only way to fend this off. He did well with his initial push but in hindsight, the core was not critical at all due to the map. Furthermore, he did not build an additional bunker at his nat after his original one went down
Shouldn't have mattered since bisu can just macro lots all day since he got a third, but it killed off flash completely

i saw the resemblance. though fantasy's backdoor fortress was more logical as flash wasnt really getting any uuber good positioning over the nexus
I love Broodwar so much, omg what a game, not even a game anymore what a sport with all its emotions, OMG Bisu I became SKT fan because of you and there is never one day that I doubt the decision that i became your fan. You are not consistent, not strong as Flash or Jaedong but man you always bring awesome, emotional games to your fans, cheesy or straight up or sexy DT/sairs. I love you man.
