Flash is so much better than stats. It's not as if outlier is a complete atrocity of a map that is impossible for terran. Terran has been sent in 5/43 games on Outlier (winning 2, both vs Z, with 0 TvT), and 4/19 times on Neo Outlier (0-4 vs Z, with 0 TvT). It is indeed a "complete atrocity of a map that is impossible for terran." That just means that there are maps that are better. In the same way I would start stats over myself for an ace match whatever the map, I would start flash over stats. There is a point where you just can't ignore the differnce in skill, regardless of map. You're talking as though Stats doesn't have a 70% winrate vs Toss this season. Stats: a pretty good protoss. Maybe top 5 in the league depending on the week. Flash: Mother fucking FLASH Which is why Flash probably gave the map a fair try in practice. Heck , probably Stats and Flash PvT each other a lot in that map during practice to figure out their best chance during ace matches. And this decision means that even Flash doesn't think he can win in Outlier based on countless hours of practice. Flash probably thinks he could win. Hell, action probably thinks he could win, it's part of being a competitor. It's about what the coach thinks, and as we have seen many times in the past, coaches can be wrong. | ||
