Great's main is now under siege. He's going to lose all his tech at this rate. Great is starting to build sunkens around his remaining three bases. Sun on four bases and is making more zealots/archons and HT

I was rooting for great, but this was a textbook PvZ by Sun (no pun intended). He kept his composure under pressure, made all the right decisions, and kept up his macro. That said, I can't help feeling great could have put up a much better game with a little better multitasking and foresight.

Great had 4 saturated bases when sun's third nexus started. The reason he won from being so behind was great failing at everything.
I don't understand. You need pretty good marine micro to be decent at TvZ, which FBH is. How come you just stand four marines and let them get taken down one by one...

It felt pretty sloppy from Bisu on the whole, but critical mass Carriers is a scary thing to behold at times. Fair play to him for having the balls to go Carriers I guess.

Spire finished. Peace losing a few drones to some lings. Peace counter-attacking! soO has a ling line at his ramp, mutas are out too. Peace withdraws his lings
spore is up at Peace's main. SoO's muta is busy chasing lings. Another spore going up for Peace.
soO's muta count looking low for now, but it's slowly building
mutas now attacking an overlord, overlord falls within seconds
Peace getting his lair now, he's got a second hatch in his main within spore defense.
Mutas now heading to Peace's main. They're attacking the exposed evo chamber. Another spore in the making, this time it'll cover the evo
soO taking his natural with his third hatchery, a lot of lings stream out of soO's main. Peace attacks by getting lings into soO's main but soO has lings for defense.
Meawhile soO manages to get a large number of lings into Peace's main, lings and drones defend, along with a sunken
ACE just humiliated themselves with three terrible, terrible games. At least we got to see one game with carriers (cheaply and cowardly used, but still something).

the damage is already done. Peace has like 1 drone left.
Lings now attacking the lair, Mutas trying to kill the lings off scourge are made.

Excellently played by Soo and exactly how I would have played the situation, though he probably could have won doing just about anything at that point.

the games were absolute shit tbh. Okay FBH's game was normal, but after a certain point rather early in the game it was almost pointless (because 9+ carriers and no damage to toss' economy and/or carrier fleet itself = insta-gg)
Oh well, congratulations are in order. With SKT's second-tier players (Soo and Sun) starting to regain their monster form, the playoffs are looking more intense than ever

Well, if Khan wins only one of their next 2 games and SKT T1 wins their one, Khan will drop down. Worst case scenario, KT wins at least 1 game as well and Khan drops to third. I think Khan has pretty much a guaranteed playoff spot, even if they lose their 2 games and Woongjin and CJ win all they have to play, Woongjin still won't be able to make it.

Well, if Khan wins only one of their next 2 games and SKT T1 wins their one, Khan will drop down. Worst case scenario, KT wins at least 1 game as well and Khan drops to third. I think Khan has pretty much a guaranteed playoff spot, even if they lose their 2 games and Woongjin and CJ win all they have to play, Woongjin still won't be able to make it.
SKT is guaranteed a playoff spot due to differential, while surprisingly Khan isn't.
The worst case scenario for Khan now is losing both their games 0-3, one of them against Stars(both will end 12-9 +0) while CJ wins their two remaining games(CJ will be 12-9 with >+3 differential) and KT wins at least one game(ends at 12-9 with at least +9 differential). Based on differential Khan and Stars may have to play each other again for playoff spots.
It's implausible for Khan not to win a single set at all though. Just that win will guarantee Khan's playoff spot.
I'm absolutely sure that either Soulkey or Jaedong would have beaten Sun to shit, having such an economical lead as Great had. But well,even with 5 bases, if you don't micro and win fights, you just lose.

I love Bisu as much as the next fanboy, but he really played sloppy there.. Some really dubious decision-making + some sloppy micro.
His opening put him too ahead though. Unlike many people in the thread, i never felt like FBH was ever ahead. Bisu's bad decisions did sometimes bring the two of them closer together, but yea, i never felt like he (Bisu) fell behind.
Wow is that the shortest LR thread of the season ? It always saddens me to see ACE being dismantled like this, but SKT really needs those clean wins before the regular season ends.
