I believe so but still you guys want walkover's fine we taking lmaster's game a walkover i already talked to nikon about it so it's a square deal already but i will play lmaster but it wont be offical game.

Ugh had you not read the thread lmaster asked for the game to be postponed but due to rcent stuff it simply going to be a walkover sorry i thought you saw what lmaster said like page 39 or 38 -_-

It comes down to that Lightning was willing to accomodate LMaster, but the members of Team 2 weren't willing to accomodate our members so we decided to take the WO. Seems fair enough to me.

I disagree, game one still hasn't been played and if there is a result already it is a win for us by walkover. Kaal hasn't contacted me to play, but I suppose it doesn't really matter now unless he still wants to play for fun. I'd be more than happy to play him!

P.S. I'd like to publicly voice a concern I have regarding substitutes / alternates in case people aren't showing up to their matches. I really don't like the idea of allowing substitutes for this simple reason: Say we have a team consisting of the following BW players, who are participating as D ranks in this league.

Now I being the team captain of this team, send out my lineup. Ideally I want Horang2 to play a PvP, and so on. So I send out Horang2 on a P map. But what if the opposing team sends a Terran? By.Sun would do much better. So, the strategy here is to have Horang2 be a no-show, and By.Sun shows up as an alternate / substitute.
In this way teams can have players specialize in one matchup only, which is detrimental to the spirit of competition and to the spirit of this league. Therefore, I request that Nikon add the rule that no substitutes be allowed. Reschedules should still be permitted, but alternates should be banned.

this is a really bad idea, lol. its just going to increase the amount of walkovers by alot. this is the d-rank team league, how can you have a D-Rank single MU specialist?

Terrible logic. You wouldn't be able to play horang2 in any of the other games then so you wouldn't get ur pvp anyway. Each team submits a "blind" roster each week which would normally consist of ur 6 best players. You wouldn't take out ur best protoss just so you can hope to line up a pvp. Any subs are more than likely the 7th (or worse) best player on a team
