Just watched Bisu vs Effort. Bisu used the build that he created during the Effort's retirement and Effort wasn't prepared for that lol. BTW the way Effort played ZvP is very weird, he used lot and lot of lings and scourges instead of hydras.

Running through results, this deserves mention:

In regular leagues, Bisu's PvZ win-rate for ALL OF 2011 is 85.71% (24-4). (If you include the prelim loss to hyvaa it drops to 25-6, which is "only" 80.65%.)

I know people talk about JD and Flash's mirror winrates and stuff, but this is something nobody else even begins to challenge: since it's not a mirror, there's not even the "but xyz player can beat him there" thing.

Was Flash's TvZ comparable?

No, he lost to JD all the ways the last few months.

It's definitely the most unique matchup. While Flash is arguably more dominant in TvT (which I believe is the most taxing matchup to play given the intricacies involved), ZvP has historically favored Z in nearly all respects, which makes Bisu's performance in it so much more remarkable than Flash's sheer dominance. The fact that the 2nd best ZvPer is astronomically below Bisu attests to this. It's art, plain and simple, and Bisu is the only one with the vision to create a masterpiece.

Sadly his vision doesn't transfer to his PvT.

Flash's TvT in 2010-11 Proleague + Winners league is 27-4 (87.1%). If you include 2011 Starleagues it drops to 34-6 (85%). Mirror winrates shouldn't be discarded, arguably there's more of a luck/bo loss factor and players who completely dominate them are rare.

Besides, Flash's best vs Z streak is 19 wins (he went 25-2 vs Z for a part of '09). Bisu's is 9.

Yhamm is the god of predictions

Sadly his vision doesn't transfer to his PvT.

His PvT is, nevertheless, top tier.
By a significant margin, his current PvT is the highest.
If you are not Bisu, chances are I hate you.

Flash was 21-8 in TvZ during 2011. 4 of those losses are to JD, and it is still a respectable 72%.

Didn't effort knock Bisu out of the Korean Air OSL 2? Like when he himself had no chance to make it any further?

Effort usually goes lurker/ling in ZvP.

That 3rd position looks hard to defend. Dunno why Effort/JD chose it. Wide open so dragoons/storms do most damage. Bisu's army was monstrous though. I didn't think Effort would've been able to hold anyway.

But enjoy this win.

Why horang2 Lost Otherwise Epic PvP
herp derp unit comp
dark archons and few HTs
feedback HTs late

So you are implying that this PvP wasn't EPIC?

Best's BO was a directly countered by Horang2's BO, yet, Best managed to dish out 11 probes. Horang2 with a hidden expo and still manages to lose every single engagement they had. Also, Best had 0 intel over his enemy, he was defending a drop from Horang2 that never happened. And Horang2 decided it was wise to fight uphill.

It's not unit comp nor the use of DA. It was Horang2 incompetence despite having a considerable lead that made this game Epic.

I said it was an epic PvP. Horang2's unit composition and bad engagements weren't epic though. I wasn't giving a full explanation as to why horang2 lost for as there's not enough room in a haiku.

Why do Bisu fans keep masochistically comparing him to Flash, trying to find justification that he's as good as Flash?
