The game is new. I agree with what you're saying here, but in a few years you will see the people with a true love for the game and competition with huge fanbases. Every time I see boxer play SC2 I put EVERYTHING on hold to tune in, when SC2 matures further these former unknowns will rise as new passionate players.

Don''t be too sad SKT fans, you did steal the Winner's League Championship from us so this is just karma :D

Yeah, "BeSt the 'Flash Killer'." My ass, f yeah KT!

KAY TEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Best week of my life, KT wins SPL, and I get into Imperial.
|
OH WAIT I remember why I love it when SKT lose. Because their fans always make the LR threads and spam it with Bisu images and act like they've won already.
KT are heroes.

thaks to everyone kespa, starleague teams&players, sponsor, TL, streamers, translators thanks to you

:D we will meet again, don't worry. It's inevitable, I was really impressed by Flash tonight yet again and don't see how other teams can compete.

Yeah, I think SC2 is only so big now because of the massive prize pools sponsors are putting up. It's nice for growth, but hopefully the game will mature and become watchable (!) [seriously I hate how mass lings look like diarrhea...] with age and new expansions, etc.
Oh, and thanks to Lightwip for LR and PLU for the 1-minute-behind stream. ... china...

Plus his team was in Child Labour Terran mode so his efforts there almost felt like a waste of time.
Now he's tied for most OSLs ever, most MSLs ever and has just won a second Proleague in a row. All with a busted wrist. Wow, just wow. Inspirational stuff to say that least. You have your dates messed up bro. When did Flash not deliver "over and over" in OSL/MSL? He won almost every one he competed in from mid 09 until now. Only a VERY select few he didn't win. I think he won almost all but one in 2010. Your years are wrong
Which part of "think back to mid 2009" made you think I was talking about the period AFTER mid 2009?

oh god i certainly did not want to take part in some sort of sc2/BW trashing here >_>
but really there is nothing wrong with musing over the money, especially because while for us it's passion and stuff i think it's overstated here, BW is a business and players are workers first and foremost, money is not only an important part, it IS integral and the most important.
that being said i kinda want to know too just beacuse of the kind of money ppl throw at LoL and all that other modern stuff^^

Yep. Drives my crazy too.

Flash just dominated BeSt today both mechanically and strategically, it was beautiful.
First game he does an early push to crush him, BeSt is probably thinking "tricky devil, trying to avoid my macro...won't work next game!", and then next game Flash STRAIGHT UP OUT-MACROS BEST WITH A DAMN NEAR BROKEN WRIST. I had a huge banana grin the entire time.
Good try SKT1, but this is the power of a God and the of the heroes who stepped up to push him into that last match (HoeJJa and Stats)

It ain't over till it's over, and if that crowd is any sign, there's still enough interest in the worlds greatest esport to keep it going. Not BW era. SKT era ended. Their loss last year was aceptable since KT was first and SKT played at PL maps while KT practiced during PO. This year, most of the pregame disadvantages are on KT because even though they had additional 2 weeks of practice, SKT didn't play on PL maps the whole time, unlike last year, so KT can't straegize that well and despite all that, SKT still lost. Without oov, they still might barely qualify for a PO spot next season, but not 1st/2nd place.

Yess..I don't care if my favorite team wins the finals or not, getting there at all is such a test of faith and power that it's a victory all the same.
If we have another KT vs SKT1 finals though, I will freak out.
