You don't know the whole story, therefore it seems a lot more simple and innocent to you than it really is. Here are the facts: Mazur broke the ISL2 rules TEN times. Yes, 10 times. We allowed an insane amount of leniency when it came to him. First offense: Smurfing (should be ban). Sure, ok, you don't know the rules ISL2-Rahl, go make a game. Four PMs back telling us that it's a bullshit rule and that he wants to change his name to Rahl so he shouldn't have to obey the rules, he finally conceded after severely annoying the administration (multiple admins). + Show Spoiler [Smurf] + ISL2-Rahl: "It's the 2nd time I need to have to strat from 0-0 stats... I play useing a lot of name's, not only Mazur so its not fair to punish me becouse you dont know my aka's (witch i've gave you when you requested - I didnt make it a secret)" My 4th response to him (clearly frustrated here) Hello Mazur, The rules are the rules, you follow them or you don't. What you do, I do not care. Use your most known aka or don't, neither will effect my sleeping pattern over the next sixty years. In his fifth (yes 5th, cinco en espanol) attempt already at B rank, he transferred to a random smurf. Seventh offense. So thank you for your well written and laid out opinion Pez, but there is absolutely zero chance of him rejoining the team. P.S. an ISL2 account is an ISL2 account, there is no dictating point of ownership. If you make an ISL2 account and plan on participating in the tournament, you follow the rules. That is all, there is no "if I was in, if I wasn't." The whole point is that he wants to participate in the team and broke rules on his ISL2 account. | ||

I actually have been looking into this over the past 2 days. No one has come forward and said they kicked him, and I surely did not since I didn't log into any iCCup accounts. I did a bunch of counter abuse on him and have found absolutely nothing. He will qualify for the tournament most likely unless someone can come forward and give me a legitimate reason for kicking him. If you talk to him personally (we will also send him a PM) tell him to send me his replays so he can qualify. Thanks for pointing this out though, it was definitely an issue that needed to be addressed. The only thing I can honestly think of (happened 15+ times in ISL2) is that iccup.com is just so terribly buggy that it randomly kicks people from teams (been dealing with this in LRM) for a couple years too). | ||

Game the rules are not clear and if u made a mistake live with it. The rules aply to ppl in the team not to ppl that WANT to play, what more if 'when you make an ISL2 accout you are in ISL2 and must obey the rules' then the 1st decision to not accept my 5-6 game accout was unfair. And the last thing You accepted me when you saw that i've made a transfer and while I were in the team I DIDNT BREAK ANY RULES so you cant kick me for what i've done before beeing a part of ISL2 dont you think ? | ||

Give the organizers some respect for doing all this without getting paid. Foreign Brood war community isn't too big, so it's great to see someone support it. also the "most known account"-rule should be simple enough to understand | ||

Thanks for answering, and you totally right, i dont know the whole story, but its your fault, i only saw that you repeating that #8 rule, which is clearly not a really valid reason. I dont understand why didnt you told these exact reasons of ban, letting many people think that the admin team is "corrupt" or whatever. Altought its not make any difference to you now, but his ban seems reasonable for me now. Thanks for enlightment. | ||

NVM, case dismissed. I was wondering why he was allowed to play after breaking the rules few times, now I remember (sorta). And if anyone's curious, you cannot play on smurf accounts. I.E. If I were to play on ISL2, I need to use the name AlterPrist or Alter since that's my known name on iCCup. I can't use SNM or something else that I like. And in reality, we did catch few people with smurf accounts. | ||
