His army wasn't large though. His lurker count was really low due to losing so many lings and mutas early and having to replace them.

it does if the zerg has drones and an army and a semblance of map control + access to a 4th gas
his drones were getting raped all day and mines+mnm prevented lurker+swarm pushes to get more gas

3 base zerg...with no drones. no, hive was not done by the time he got lurkers out. (not even close wtf were you watching) and he did not have a large army. at all.

worker count. terran is able to produce so so much from 2 base. and adding to that, marines and vultures are the two most cost effective units in the game.
