i think jd is loosing edge, yes he played good at the beginning of the month, but that doesnt mean his overrall performance is as good as before, in 2009 jd was the best because his performance through the entire year was stunning, but now, you cant conform with two games he played well, if you look at more than 1 month youll see tha jd is playing ALRIGHT, but nothing like what he used to be. i root for the three players left, i dont care i just hope to see an exciting final, flash was on fire through 2010, and he slowed down a bit, i want to know if he will tie nada or maybe the gods of starcraft will deny it once again.
you shouldnt worry if everybody ignore you, you should be worry when they dont anymore.

it's a sad day for bw indeed for me, even if i played jaedong bo5 where i 9pool and he 12hatch exps every game i would probably win most of the time ;D

what is your BW rank?! thats a tough call...I know even if i early pool vs his 12 hatch I would probably lose due to crappy ling micro. Did you see in game 4 where jaedongs lings with far less almost beat zeros with way more?

A- in TSL2
Enjoy the game

I fully approve of Jaedong's decision to go 12 hatch every single game. It's his control that was lacking. He was in a clear advantage in game 3 and in game 4, dealing with a non-speedling 9 pool when you know it's coming isn't that difficult. He just a shitty job killing those lings with his drones.

This is simply not the Jaedong anymore we all know. His Bo5 prepartion for a zvz consists of 4x 12hatch? What happened to all those cute little builds he used to perform, like 10hatch with extractor trick (OSL finals vs Luxury). A very deserving loss.

Zer0 played fantastic today, all props to him. His zvt is beautiful. When he gets his shit together for once, he is a very dangerous opponent for Flash.

You know, it reminds me of some boxing matches I watched, when a crown champion gets beaten with a rookie just because he didn't bring any new into his style, he was solved and stagnated relying on his superior mechanics and skill, but he was outplayed just like any champion will be sooner or later if you do not constantly evolve. Sorry JD, the time has come eventually. I'm sure JD will do well, he won't go into a slump, and we shall see epic games from him, but there won't be many anymore.

What?

So a month after two incredible games, he loses in ZvZ and his days are numbered? I'm actually going to stop myself because of how ridiculous this is.

Don't bother responding to that troll. Every time Jaedong loses a bo5 or goes into a mini-slump a million haters cry it is the end of his reign, and he comes back and makes the finals or semi-finals.

Jaedong isn't going anywhere, but it is foolish to think his ZvZ will ever get to the level he displayed in 2008-2010.

Uhm... Jaedong's reign ended more than a year ago. He has always been a contender for titles since, but by no means you can speak of a "reign".

Funny though...not long ago everybody was bitching about how JD went 9pool every game. Anyways, disappointing series overall despite an epic game 2. Couldn't believe JD didn't save his natural in the last game given the long rush distance.

It is disappointing that Jaedong lost another Ro4 ZvZ, especially with such a glamorous final beckoning. We all know that JvF for the Golden Badge would have been fantastic, but even JvH would have had a couple of epic storylines: the defending champion looking to stamp his authority on the S-Class (seriously, imagine beating Stork, Flash and Jaedong in series play in a single starleague) against the grizzled veteran lusting for both revenge and Nada's record.

But let's face it, ZerO deserves this. He possesses such pronounced talent that he was bound to reach a starleague final at some point. His inconsistency belies belief, especially since it seems to be contradicted by all these Ro4 and Ro8 appearances that he racks up, but maybe we're seeing a new and improved ZerO. His mechanics are in quality shape and he seems mentally tough - seriously, getting through that series against Calm was a mission and a half. All the best to him in the final.

Come on Jaedong!

Here the word of truth. It's cruel but it is still the fact. JD understood his capacity better than any fanboy. He thought he needed a bo economic advantage to win this. He know his micro is no match for his opponent.

I feel the problem with Jaedong is that he always is lacking in some matchup, and it varies too. Now he has tyrant mode back in ZvT, but he has lost his JvZ. Sigh, so depressing. I hope Flash stomps Zero in the final.

Can't believe Zero went 9pool three times. Once, at the most twice, would be understandable and then continue with 12hatch. Still, Game2 was pretty amazing

If JD can beat Zero's 9 pool 1 time out of 3 I actually think he would smash you.

It's ironic that the first time Zero made it to a SL finals after so long, he did it by ZvZing his way through it. It's only appropriate that he faces Hydra in the finals and beats him.

Nicely said. If those were words from Jaedong himself then who is anyone to say anything otherwise.

Jesus you guys, why didn't you show me JD vs Ruby game or a series against Grape? I'm saying so cause I feel so, while watching his games. When JD was in top form his games were all amazing, ALL of them were a top class play. Now I'm getting these 1 of 3-4 games where I don't "wtf JD?". Doesn't it look like a pattern to you? What kind of pattern? JD got worse and its a fucking fact now.

Reign over his zerg brothers. How can anyone dispute Jaedong was not the top zerg in 2010 making 4 out of 6 finals?
