I found it strange that you are incapable of enjoying starcraft unless you have an understanding of the build orders, timings, unit compositions, etc. More likely you simply never played Brood War before and can not quite relate the game to your own experience, like why corsair is counter against stacked muta. As far as I know, none of commentators who were accepted by the community is still doing brood war casting. None except NukeTheStar anyway, but his style isn't exactly Day9. If you are serious about watching brood war, then buy the game for 5 dollars, play the single player and acquire a basic understanding of the game. This website is legit I believe: http://www.cdkey-game.com/starcraft-brood-war-expansion-cd-key-p-239.html

I think it's better to look only at winner league because that's the level at which theses maps are going to be played. Basically if you include all leagues, you mix up the results with games which have been played at much lower level. A map completely imba for a B-teamer can be balanced at A or S class level, and it seems to be the case for Aztec. What applies to ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If Aztec is 5/5 in winner league, it means that it's not that much of a a terran graveyard at this level. As I said, until now better player has won in TvP with no exception. You can't say the same thing about Bloody Ridge. Bloddy Ridge seems to be an absolute nightmare even at S-class level. I mean, Flash lost twice on it recently, and saidd in an interview that either you win in the first 8 minutes, either it's basically GG. Now go look at the stats of Bloody Ridge in Dream League. It's 10-0 in favor of terran. The thing is that the protoss who lost were people such as ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The same way, you have maps which are very well balanced for progamers and completely unbalanced for foreigners. You wouldn't make conclusions about a proleague map using IcCup stats.

It's almost sure that SKT will send a protoss to start up with, because of how broken this map is for terrans in both TvZ and TvP. I wouldn't send Stat in first set against Bisu or BeSt. I think KT coaching staff better send a zerg since this map is quite a good one for ZvP and that losing a zerg in less of a problem than losing Stat for KT. Will see. I agree, though, Flash will probably enter late.

Too hyped for this Finals and the urge to create a new TL account for more hype simply cannot be stopped. Anything other than an S-Class clash last game for the champ will be underwhelming (Flash/Fanta or Flash/Bisu). Imagine <insert any ZvZ> game 7... Hell No. GO!GO!GO! HYPE!

Where do I tune in? Are streams just added to this thread as the event gets closer? Yes, or they'll be listed under the event in the ON AIR: section.

You wouldn't make conclusions about a proleague map using IcCup stats. The TvP results for Aztec are somewhat misleading. For WL only the map is 5-5 but if you look a the game list Fantasy is 3-0 and other Terrans are 2-5. If you look at standard leagues, which still limits the sample to games between legit PL/WL starters, the overall record is 7-15 which is already Terran graveyard territory. However, you can further break this down to Fantasy 4-1 and other Terrans 3-14 which getting to Battle Royale levels of futility. Unless you are SKT you really don't want to send a Terran out on this map, and even sending Flash is an unecessary risk.
