Ya, Flash with MnM is a thing of beauty. And it's amazing how he always seemed to have a scan left in his comsats at every crucial moment. His tech was so late due to his 5 Rax build, and still he crushed JD's lurker build.  But JD should've totally been able to do a better job at stalling Flash's MnM forces with lurkers considering how late Flash's vessel were. Stuff like throwing away a handful of 'em in that pointless runby was very sloppy and unnecessary. JD didn't play that game out optimally in any way. 
While that was obviuously far from their best game (we didn't even get Hive tech), 1) at least we got FvJ at all unlike last time and 2) the game was actually pretty exctiting IMO. Could've been a lot worse.
Also, I'm happy Flash is through his slump now. It had me really worried. ^__^

It's mostly because, if not cross positions, the Terran had a very short push distance. The metagame back then put a lot of emphasis on a Terran's ability to push the Zerg before defilers came out. If anyone else has something to say, then please share.

YES. not cross positions and zerg all suffer from some sort of early mm/joyo 4-6 min push, and the rest of the game is just zerg qqing from mass mm and/or 10 tanks pounding on the low main + drop harass to sweeten the deal. :p

Both of these points have been proven several times by J and F, when the former was considered the obvious best and won several starleagues the same year, but would still lose to F on many occassions. Whereas in 90% of those scenarios J did everything possible but still lost, and in the remaining 10% he did something stupid he knew he had lost straight away. FvZ was probably even better back then too. PS. Questioning what is given is not equal to being angry. Try not to think out too loud, you are by doing so proving that the good old quote "It's better to keep quiet and have people think you stupid, than to talk and confirm it." needs an extension for internet forums. :-)

Sick game from Flash, but just felt like Jaedong spread too thin and got hive too late. Earlier hive, and later fourth would've made the game very different (not saying he'd win, but the game would deffo be different), but JD always walks the thin line. Had he held all that sick preassure from Flash, and got his defilers out I dont think Flash could've won - his third was very late.
GGs still, Flash is awesome..
