the lings probably managed to annoy xellos enough that he forgot turrets or something??? so confused... why'd he send his marines in piecemeal and stimmed/damaged...
Better players have fallen to worse ones in these exact positions on Icarus. Xellos was very unlucky. Still played like shit but he was very unlucky there.
does anyone know why Zergs are starting to go 3hat muta again vT instead of 2hat? and since the current rax cc build is optimized against 2hatch, does the 3hatch muta throw off the build due to the greater muta numbers? (though admittedly Xellos scouted 3hatch... do T players even practice vs 3rd-hatch-in-main builds anymore?)

He was planning on going for the sunken break (and force the mutas on the defensive), but once he pulled his forces back he still had plenty of time to lay down turrets, I just think he was too distracted to do it.

ggaemo with 6 drones, one of them gets killed before he gets a spore up both players with an inbase hatchery ggaemo hasn't even started morphing a lair

ACE's performance isn't the fault of WL. If anything, WL is helping them because after the first set (assuming a loss) the next player knows who his opponent will be. It's not like they are getting AK'd by Flash/JD here, they've been getting wiped out by A-teamers (like Stats, Baby, Han and Magikarp). Those are players that they should be able to beat at least some of the time (like they did in rounds 1 and 2). SWL only hurts ACE when they are up against S-class players that can rip through them when they don't have their own ace player to do the same. Since they are losing to just about every player these days, it wouldn't matter if it was SPL for them. ACE just needs to get the fuck back in the zone.

I think it's more likely due to the fact they have to practice on more than 1 map in more than 1 matchup. ACE seems to work primarily as snipers, so they predict which players will appear and when and then simply train only for that. WL practicing is hard, which is why players with a lot of natural talent (such as Bisu) will shine the brightest in this format.

While that's true, I think during the regular format they've better team spirit or something and all pull their weight better where as in SWL they lose that and go to pieces. I don't know, whatever the case is it's been a tough few months to follow them.

don't get me wrong; i was a savior anti-fan before the matchfixing scandal, i like fbh's ceremonies, and i wish there was more stuff like that in the scene but as a player he has rarely been more than mediocre at best

There isn't room enough in the scene for infinite champions. fbh has been around for a while and has put on many a good show. In the same vein, people cheer for Sea and Really.
i used to hate FBH, but I feel sad for him as he has been doing so bad. (have had this feeling with many other cocky players too that went into slump e.g. Savior) So good job FBH, go for the all-kill!

Yeah cause stork has sucked at PvZ throughout his carrier and sAviOr ZvT was never impressive. I can live without Best too =) Edit : and honestly, Im' pretty sure there is not a match up with as many snipers as TvZ... And Fanta is like the only top terran I can think of who is not incredible at the match-up, and he's still pretty good...

you don't need to be a champion in order to be good sea may not have ever gone far in an individual league but his PL winrate is nearly 60%
