Overall tho, ForU's a difficult call to make.
I mean, when he's on, he can beat anyone in the world. He's the player most publicly responsible for developing the technical capabilities of the protoss race at the competition level. Crap, Lee practically mentored Garimto!
But, he's just so inconsistent when it comes to tournament results. He'll likely make it out of his group, but #1 seed isn't guaranteed. Beyond that, who knows...?
I wish him the best.
"Inconsistent when it comes to tournament results"... couldn't the same be said of every other Protoss player, with the possible exception of Nal_rA?

Well, not the way I meant it. My point was that Lee is as capable (technically) as the very best toss users in Korea. However, unlike Nal_rA and Reach (and Garimto before them), he's not a regular on the OGN or MBC Starleague scene. At least not compared to the guys I just mentioned - despite the fact that virtually every professional toss player in Korea acknowledges his high skill level. Even elite players go through slumps. But, Lee's career trajectory has been the most erratic among any of the major toss players. That's all I meant by "inconsistent" - inconsistent compared to his skill level and his peers.

If that's the case, and forU brings his "A" game with him, neither of those two players has a chance. Not against forU's PvT.
Assuming he brings it. T__T
[EDIT: Then again, forU did make it out of the Korea prelims which is arguably even harder to do than winning the WCG. Perhaps this is a sign of renewed commitment by forU to the game? I'd love to see this guy do well. A forU v Froz final would be pure platinum for me.]

I'm closing the "WCG Day 1" thread.
EDIT: we'll re-open them all later. But during the WCG, it's one day, one results thread.

Good idea.....Froz Elky should be good!!
I think I like Elky in this matchup.

Btw, what's up with the stream? It gives me 'stream currently unavailable' when I try to get onto their site.

Which winamp version do I need for this broadcasting?
