I think the reason why Bisu is so successful in PvZ is because he's able to hit perfect timings in the mid game. If we analyze the ZvP matchup, Zerg is strong in the early, and early mid game (ling runby, hydra bust, lurker bust etc. In the mid to late mid game, Protoss has a huge advantage (+2speedlots, archons, corsairs, dragoon deathball, maybe reavers). Once it fully reaches the late game, Zerg gets the defiler with plague and swarm which make zealots and dragoons weaksauce. (plagued zealots die in 7 hydralisk shots instead of 30+, and dragoons do 0 damage to lings under swarm). The reason ZvP is imbalanced in Z's favor is due to the use of busts against greedy protoss, and defilers to weaken the P's deathball in the late game. If you look at Bisu's victories, almost all of them end in the mid game, because he knows he'll lose the advantage if he lets it get to the late game. Therefore, he specifically executes a strategy to ensure victory in the mid game.
