No Goliaths = gg. 2 good storms on Goliaths would've killed Flash, guaranteed.
He had 1/2 a base at the end and was long distance mining too.

Vice-versa might work as well.

gogo hite! how's skyhigh lately? his TvT was so good back then.. =/

No man Flash still had mining bases and alot of reinforcing goliaths

It looked like Flash's early game defense was really good. I think he reacted very well to the gas steals and early zealot pressure.

What? He had a saturated base. He had enough money to build a turret in front of it. He had literally just lifted a CC to the bottom right and was transferring SCVs. Also "2 good storms" will win any game, but Snow had to somehow magically get the templar past flash's tanks which were closing off the ground route to the final confrontation. The end wasn't close.

There's no such thing as bad GG timing in winners league. Gotta do everything you can to help your team.

Flash had 1500 minerals in the latest FPView though and the carriers had no income..

I don't really get why Snow went pure carriers. It's not all that good. You really do need a good balance of ground and air force as protoss, especially so you can maximize the mobility of carriers by splitting it up. Plus carrier timing for coming out was horrible. How can you move out when you have less interceptors than goliaths?

well i wish skyhigh wasnt slumping so hard but I think he may be hite's best chance

He was completely broke (no more interceptors and no ability to get another base) while Flash had a ton of Goliaths, money saved up in the bank and expoes up. No way. Yup. Flash still had his army (which was on its way to catch up to the carriers), and a fresh expo in the center. He could have just kept his army there and rebuilt factories, Snow wouldn't have been able to engage it.
Carriers only got 1 factory by the time the army reached them. getting all the facs would have taken flash afking for a couple mins with a bathroom break.

Wow, Flash lost so many tanks to those mines. O_O

You need a critical mass of Goliaths against carriers, which Flash had. That's why Snow interceptors died so fast. With a bit of luck, that might have changed at one point. 1500 minerals is what, 15 Goliaths? Reinforcing 5-6 at a time against 7 carriers? Yeah, it was definitely close.
But that's a what if scenario and Flash won, so whatever.
