I actually expected ACE to do very well with the new Bo7 formatt. It was fairly obvious that teams heavily reliant on a sinlge ace player ala Oz would struggle and teams like ACE with 4+ solid players would do better. KT is a bit of an anomaly seeing as they beat SKT in a Bo7 to win proleague last season but i suppose that can be brushed of as more SKT(canata bisu) fail than KT 'depth'.

How can you not play Best when he's in no leagues? Surely he can handle JUST PL. When you take out your best players you invite yourself to these kind of weird upsets.

the more important question is why play sun in place of best?
ace 100% expected best and clearly sent peace as a protoss sniper... an skt zerg or even canata would have been a much better choice if not best

I think Best's health has been in question lately, his most recent games had featured him with a mask on indicative of some sort of respiratory illness, most likely its preventing him from proper play and practice.

ace may have depth .. but they were still portrayed as poor-performing players before the season began .. but they're like a solid team ..
while regarding the 09-10 finals .. yeah .. especially bisu fail

i don't believe that a noname and this guy + Show Spoiler + could produce such an epic game? It's been ages since I watched a bw game (just checking skt <3 results from time to time) but i guess i should watch this one

2/2 Today, i knew ACE had to perform once and T1 had to fail once too. My gut feeling didn't betray me !
It's not a big deal to T1 imo, they'll recover fast.

Every time I open the lineups spoiler of the games I haven't seen live I know perfectly what happened. Then...I open the results, that will prove me absolutely wrong. What is it with this round?

Glad I was on a plane and wasn't watching this one live - too much rage would've ensued.
I need to spend some time going through this thread, but SKT is in major damage control now with a Zerg line no longer contributing, and the famed FBB underperforming with regularity. Amazing what one round can do in the PL.
Head-aches for SKT, but form is temporary and class is permanent. Coach Park has some work to do though - wouldn't want to be him atm.
