Let's see: - BeSt threw away his early zealots - Calm's midgame drops accomplished nothing - BeSt killed a bunch of OLs and couldn't take advantage - Calm's ridge hydras got baited and killed by goons because Calm ignored them - BeSt repeatedly got sandwiched like an idiot. The only good thing about this ZvP was Calm's sandwiches, and I was rooting for Calm. I mean, I guess you could call it a clinic in taking advantage of an inferior player (at least MU-wise), but that's about it.

I would argue that it's not hard to surround when you're about 80 food over the opponent, and the shuttle snipes were more because best neglected to control the shuttle after dropping the reavers, or the first one when he didn't pay attention at all and let it die to roaming hydras.

SKT logic: Bisu wins -> BEST PVZ OF THE CENTURY REVOLUTIONIZING THE MATCHUP SKT Protoss loses -> Zerg imba both players fail but Zerg wins. That wasn't the best ZvP or anyting but it was still pretty good, and definitely should be at least a check it out if you have time. Great positioning from Calm and surrounds. Textbook Zerg swarm ~_~ On December 01 2010 13:31 Musoeun wrote: Let's see: - BeSt threw away his early zealots - Calm's midgame drops accomplished nothing - BeSt killed a bunch of OLs and couldn't take advantage - Calm's ridge hydras got baited and killed by goons because Calm ignored them - BeSt repeatedly got sandwiched like an idiot. I don't think you understand the beauty of the drops - Calm committed VERY LITTLE to the drops, like what, a handful of hydras? 12 Hydras? And he had 4 bases running, so it's basically nothing, but it managed to keep Best in his base until Calm got up a huge Lurker army and successfuly deny Best's attempt at a 4th, which managed to win him the game. It was smartly thought out by Calm at any rate, which is always the case, but in this case, he managed to follow up his good strategy into a win, so go STX =]
