I swear, this season...
Oh, you are reading this? Great! Setting aside the woe of my liquibet, this season has been full of exciting developments and upsets. What are the constants in this rapidly changing environment?
1. Protoss is still performing very strongly.
2. You'll never see a Terran on Central Plains.
3. Teams that are awesome in theory take their sweet time to fulfill their format-based destiny, if they decide to do it at all.
And 4. Woongjin hasn't broken their Ace match curse.
As Ryo stated well in his pre STX-game analysis, MBC has a huge amount of obstacles to overcome this season, and the slump of Light isn't helping much. While Tyson performed rather decently in the last few matches, MBC has to rely on Hyun, Saint and Jaehoon as well to try and exploit Constant nr. 4. The above task is easier said than done, and Sea won't have an easy time against any of Woongjin's top 4.
Then again, my predictions seem to backfire pretty badly. Hopefully we'll see lots of great ZvT/TvZ, but the odds should be in the favor of Stars.
