This final was not about terran versus zerg, it was about flash versus jaedong. _Any_ other terran today on these maps and jaedong is the overwhelming favourite and even when he is up against the best player ever the pre game predictions are ~50/50.
That's not the sign of an imbalanced game.

i am of the opinion that jaedong fanboys are the most defensive and unreasonable of all fanboys

Can someone explain why JD lost in the 4th game? Flash pulled off a 5-rax which, while JD survived, damaged JD's econ enough for Flash to expand without worry and play his standard game. Kinda doubt it, if you're thinking that JD will pull off a Savior (post-Bisu), he probably won't - Savior always did give that vibe that he was sick of the game after that. JD'll probably be as hungry, if not more, than before.
If they could get a huge sponsor like KA and stage the finals in Shanghai, I don't see why there won't be SLs next season

It's because Jaedong fanboys aren't used to seeing their guy crushed...Flash and Bisu have had slumps in their Career Jaedong never really has been out of the top two ranked players since his rise to the top and has never lost a rivalry with anyone before flash.

I've never played starcraft 1, but have been drawn to this scene by the grand competitiveness of it. I love watching it even though I only have a vague understanding of what I'm actually watching. I play Zerg in SC2, and I see stuff like dark swarm, and lurkers and scourge and stuff in ZvT here and am wildly jealous. While some people may claim Terran imba here, I think back to how bad it is in SC2 right now and just think holy crap BW is great, you guys have no idea how lucky you are.

That's great that you're getting into BW but at least you aren't retarded enough to come in and start passing judgments on a 12 year old competitive scene for a game you don't know much of anything about.

It is so sad the thread for such an awesome final is packed with retards making stupid posts about imbalance, or insulting progamers, and god knows what else.
This series had all you could hope for : massive hype,awesome mind games, epic micro battles, extremely tense moments, brilliant decision making...
Flash won fair and square (this comes from a JD fan), there is no need for BM and imba whining here.
We need more banlings. Or the staff should give Rekrul his ban-hammer back. Or the mods should start another purge. But please do something, because an awful load of terrible posters is polluting the forums these days.
