I think im most probably pissed because this is the 3rd consecutive jd lost to flash, but maybe that would bring new life to jaedong as he now has the goal of catching up to flash. On a fun note: no 14ccs and no mech today :O

I've always considered Bisu to be the most mechanically sound player in all of BW, it's just that his mindset is so whack. You really think a few lines in some interviews allow you to judge someone's mindset? Or that if they don't publicly say something, they don't think it? I guarantee every player has bitched about maps that are bad (and Tears of the Moon was pretty bad), what varies is how public it is. And frankly, given that pros have their careers determined by the maps to quite a degree, I'd say they've the right to.

Really tough maps have always brought out the best in Flash. Yes please :D Nothing wrong with streaks of Power Overwhelming, but it's always most rewarding when your player wins against the odds.

I don't think JD cheesing twice or skipping mutas in game 4 has anything to do with him expecting to lose against Flash. True, he changes his play when facing Flash. But Flash changes his play too (2x cheese this series, unorthodox time pushes in MSL...). Why? Because they both know they are facing their toughest opponent ever, and gaining while playing perfectly standard is long and takes a lot of energy, and is pretty much a toss up. They know getting a decent advantage against such an opponent is ridiculously hard if you play by the book. They also both know that no matter how good their opponent is, if they can get a sizeable advantage at some point in the game, they are 90% sure of riding it to victory. So, they do whatever it takes to get that advantage. If a 4 pool gives JD a 60% chance of coming out on top, you bet he will take the chance, because it is way better than 50% chance of winning after 50 minutes spent macroing off 7 bases and microing ultras-lings-defilers and what not. And I am not even considering mind games here, which play a key part in choosing your BO.
