I guess he did then, because he was playing Effort.

Great Great game! Series has to go on like this!

Wow, NICE game by Effort. I hope he continues to show this skill. Although I think he missed an early opportunity to hydra bust while Light had only wraiths.

What did I miss so far? Who is ahead? Effort controlling the map and the game. Should be 1-1 soon, nice game overall. How did he deal with the 'unbeatable' mech? Seems straight up hydra-ling now Light did not open with SK terran into mech, but went 2 port wraith into mech. They are 2 completely different builds. Effort played a solid and strong game with a heavy emphasis on drops and keeping light in his base until lhe got his late hive.
Yep. Without the early MM pressure Effort's mutas were free to fly around while he double expanded. After the first wraith attack that killed ~7 drones he just spored up his bases and pumped massive amounts of hydras. Mutas/speedlords cleared mines and he went from there.

Wow.... Effort winning on T imba map.... I am happy... for Now

imo light lost mainly because he didn't handle his 2-port build well enough and couldn't prevent effort from mass expanding light is prob gonna go standard next game, and that's when his skill really shines anyway

Light had a chance, but losing those ~14 tanks or so to pure zergling was beyond stupid and threw away any chance he had.

Umm...That was Effort (Kim Jung Woo) who just beat Light, not JaeDong

If a map where you can take 4 gas expos while only having to defend a single choke isn't the right map for this style then what is?

It didn't help that Light donated a tank army to Effort.

Yeah but that takes up tons of supply that could be used for hydra/zergling. Guardians, for the same supply as a muta, is more powerful against ground units and when you're swimming in money from 8 expansions it seems like a decent way to use that supply.

I think he meant any other zerg than Effort + Jaedong. It's one of those, Effort is already in the match, "other zergs" does not include him, I think.
On topic, fantastic game by Effort.

Light never had enough tanks to mass so many in one place so that incoming ling masses would be killed before they got close plus Effort actually sent all his shit at the tank line together instead of in a dribble like other zergs where each little group of units would be killed in a salvo and the tanks would recycle in time for the next little group fo units
gah I bet this singer's pretty impressive for a Korean singing an English song but it's hard on the ears.

Jaedong, but will go 2-1

Mech does have a weakness if it's spread too thin. But Triathlon is basically the only map where the Terran has to choose between spreading to think and getting expansions or safely turtling. :/ Terrans dont have to do badly advised pushes on FS or PR. Not sure about Odd-Eye though.

He's basically saying the only other person who could play that well is Jaedong, not that only Jaedong could.

I can't wait for the next game! :D
