Hyuk < New Heartbreak Ridge > Violet

KT knows that Fantasy has been playing a lot on the map, and tries to snipe him with violet, but gets hyuk'd instead. Hyuk goes for a muta bust, but somehow messes up his timing and scourge count, losing him the game.

SKT 0-1 KT

Bisu < Polaris Rhapsody > Flash

It's a fairly safe assumption to say that Bisu's going to be on Polaris Rhapsody, and Flash will overcome the slight P>T map imba to dominate after an underwhelming reaver opening.

SKT 0-2 KT

BeSt < Fortress > HoeJJa

Things are looking grim for SKT, and BeSt gets thrown out because its not safe to leave players open to be sniped later on. KT expects either him or fantasy, and decides to sac HoeJJa and hope that it's BeSt. But after losing his first shuttle, BeSt goes into autopilot and rolls over the hydra army with well-micro'd reavers and precise storms.

SKT 1-2 KT

s2 < Grand Line SE > Stats

With only s2, canata, and fantasy left (since n.die_soO sucks horribly and nobody expects him to appear), KT chooses to send a protoss instead of their mediocre zergs, saving fOrGG for a map he's more comfortable with. s2 is 70% vP. GG Stats.

SKT 2-2 KT

Canata < Match Point > fOrGG

SKT knows fOrGG is still out there, and is unwilling to send their zergs or B-teamers. Canata goes out on a map where he is 0-5, and retains his status as 30-minute man. At least its a brilliant game with constant back and forth aggression and both players mine out on 2 bases.

SKT 2-3 KT

FanTaSy < Judgment Day > Tempest

We know fantasy's coming. KT doesn't have many choices left either, with the only viable choices being 815, BarrackS, FireFist and Tempest. Fantasy plays catch-up the whole game using a FD vs 12nex, but through consistent vulture harass and tank drops (destroying Tempest's gas nat twice), he wins through a macro game, utilizing the terran death ball.

SKT 3-3 KT

BeSt < Fighting Spirit > Flash

No way in hell will KT risk sending out a sub-Flash player. Not even to try and snipe BeSt. Flash opens 1-rax FE on close positions, and BeSt prepares, to everyone's surprise, a bull-dog. Flash scouts the wrong way, and gets it denied, unable to see if BeSt had even expanded. The bulldog itself is only partially successful, however. 2 zealots die inside the shuttle and the trade-off is fairly even. But then BeSt's second shuttle with a reaver and dragoon begins its work, getting a total of 14 SCV kills. This provides the edge BeSt needs and rolls Flash 6 base to 3. To Flash's credit, he held off a lot longer than he should have, with brilliant EMPs and recall denies. As he GGs watching his last push die, BeSt walks out with a badass swagger, and performs a ceremony for the ages. Nice try KT, but the Masters of the Universe are just what their title implies.
