I'm curious to know why they didn't send Jaedong, it seems pretty clear that they planned this well in advance. I hope it was Jaedong's decision to not play, as opposed to the coach not having faith in him. Maybe he doesn't want to face Flash until he feels he's fully figured him out and is ready to rape him 3-0! Ok maybe not, but I can hope so.

I am of course disappointed by the fact that Flash lost as well, but that is quite easy to overlook considering what he has accomplished recently. ![]() But it is very disappointing that Oz didn't send JD for ace, especially since the MSL games didn't live up to the expectations in terms of quality (only one player delivered good games).

Polaris is not a zerg-favored map in general so it's quite logical to send out a non-zerg, look at the stats: Polaris Rhapsody 폴라리스 랩소디 Size: 96x128 Spots: 5, 11 Tileset: Twilight Games played: 77 Race Stats (non-mirrors): TvZ: 3-6 (33.3%) [ Games ] ZvP: 5-5 (50%) [ Games ] PvT: 16-10 (61.5%) [ Games ] Mirrors: 15 TvT | 4 ZvZ | 13 PvP Anyway, whatever makes you feel better about the loss...

If you are rank #8 Oz and JD cant think for the fans or entertainment. They need wins.

Jaedong on a non-zerg favored map should still be a much safer bet than Hiya. Having said that, the stats given above looks pretty good for zergs actually. It could be that Jaedong has not overcome his loss in the MSL final yet, and facing Flash again after couple of days might not be the best idea.

Of the 154 players (77 games) sent for that map, 65 were T, 62 were P and 27 were Z. Yeah, the few Z that played terrans got good win-ratios, but considering they sent Z in a map no-one expects Z, they're exceptional cases. Sending Jaedong, the player Flash expected, in a map that's unfavourable for Z is a pretty bad idea. Specially when you have a sniper as prepared as Hiya.
