Flash is the ultimate player that only needs a few more titles so that even the stubborn people don't have any arguments left for not bowing to the God of starcraft. Then he gets gayed (not only by effort, but by himself too). Kids, don't listen to HotBid, he's evil. Of course I'm happy, I'm a CJ fan ![]() If you want to wallow in Flash's bad play and be depressed someone didn't get the golden mouse because he was fairly beaten in a bo5, that's your choice. Flash's inability to prove he's worthy of the most dominant player title is nobody's fault but his own. Did you expect Effort to just roll over for him because Flash had a great winrate the past few months? There's no doubt that Flash is good. But... In OSL/MSL Finals, Iloveoov is 5-0, Savior is 3-2, and Jaedong is 4-1. All three of these guys beat each race at least once. And Flash, well he's 2-2, both his wins coming against Protoss. And I'm not even including JD 3-0 Flash in GOM. Maybe it's time to accept the harsh reality that Flash might have dominating stretches but he's simply not who all his fans expect him to become. The potential is there, no doubt, but he's come up empty three times against Zerg in major finals. You can only disappoint so many times before people start doubting; Flash is good, but I sincerely doubt he's "best player ever" good.

Give the kid more time, he's still younger than those players you mentioned were when they played their finals (at least I think so). Flash will come back stronger than before and win the MSL ![]()

Show nested quote + Actually all-in is build where there is no followup, EffOrt had lair up so he could've gone either muta or lurkers, so it wasn't all-in With what larva? He spent it all on lings. On May 22 2010 22:16 bearbuddy wrote: Show nested quote + So almost every terran push is an all-in? I'm just trying to get the semantics right. How does this post make any sense? Terrans push to force you to spend resources on things besides workers/tech, or if it's big enough, win. (read: timing push) So let's say you see your opponent doing something really retarded like 3cc before rax (it seems like you need extreme example to understand). You scout this as Zerg and turn all your larvae into zerglings and all your gas into zergling speed, then you pull the drones from gas to minerals and continue making zerglins. If you are half decent you will win 100% of the time by doing this. Now imagine some moron is coming up to you and say : "Well you cheesy bastartad IF ONLY HE DEFENDED you would be screwed big time; 3 command centers are big advantage early game". Do you undestand the difference between what Effort did and "allins" like 5 pool ?

Look at this snip: Flash is the ultimate player that only needs a few more titles so that even the stubborn people don't have any arguments left for not bowing to the God of starcraft. Khan would just kill his vZ even more, as all their guys are just horrible against Zerg. I think he'd do great in WeMade or Woongjin. Of course this wouldn't happen, as they can't afford him at all.

Look at this snip: Yeah, that's definitely not true. It seemed like Flash became overconfident after he was up 2-0. Was he already thinking about hiding strategies from JD, or that he had read effort like an open book? I don't know but something happened those last 2 games...not saying effort wasn't deserving, but Flash was disappointing those last games...

If it came down to a standard game it could have gone the other way, but no. If Flash pulled those two games off I bet you would be saying otherwise. If Effort's scouting was a bit off Flash would have done a lot of damage. So relax a bit.
