Movie palming his heatpack. It seems so many BW venues are cold enough to chill the players' hands. But I suppose they might want to use them to warm up even at normal temperatures.

It used to be that once he got a lead in a TvT, it got strictly bigger second by second for the rest of the game until he won. Now it seems like he's been starting with a lead (in this particular game he had a big time build order win) and giving it back in more places by taking some risks. Not to say his TvT isn't still by far the best or anything. Anyone else notice this? He was under controlled risk imo. At 1 or 2 moments he was on the fringe but since he had powered so much earlier on he could sustain whatever baby was throwing at him, plus have that extra power to push into 12 like he was attempting to do. If he just sat there and let baby control his expos maybe then yes he would be at a bigger risk, but he was using his earlier advantage to make baby pull back or to simply crush the guerrilla units.

There was nothing BM about taking that base. Flash's entire strategy revolved around securing and denying the bases closest to Baby with air-superiority and and early dropship play, hence the two-port opening.

Players like Really or Skyhigh (especially Skyhigh who makes tons of TvT comeback wins) would punish him severely for that. Skyhigh's TvT is legitimately great but I think Really's is grossly overrated. I do agree that if Flash played like this against Skyhigh he might be in trouble. I still consider Flash a massive favorite over Really in all situations short of him playing his first TvT on a 2 player map (which he has been a little shaky at).

It wasn't bm. It was a risky expo that payed off.
