The model plane in the "stadium" is a very good touch as well. Hopefully sponsors are impressed with how OGN pulled it off and will continue to pay up lucrative amounts of sponsorship money.

That was a great expo spot: simultaneously allowed him to take an expansion on what would have been Baby's side of the split map, and also deny Baby mining from another base. And if you have early game control and can set it up, it's just perfect. except that its highly unusual and extremely risky at that point in the game as you lack the dropship count and army size to support and reinforce there. out of all the places to expo early on, across the map right by your opponent's main is not one of those.

Now it seems like he's been starting with a lead (in this particular game he had a big time build order win) and giving it back in more places by taking some risks. Not to say his TvT isn't still by far the best or anything. Anyone else notice this?

I can't think of any bigger sponsor than Korean Air atm though ![]()

Flash dropped the SCV there with his 1st dropship, then came back pretty soon with 3-4 dropships since he used his double port to get faster dropships. He knew he had more dropships than Baby, since Baby only had 1 port and was making wraiths/valks as well. I'm not saying it was completely safe, but it's pretty far from BM.

Players like Really or Skyhigh (especially Skyhigh who makes tons of TvT comeback wins) would punish him severely for that.

I think it's worth noting that this was guaranteed to be Flash's last TvT on Great Barrier Reef this OSL (and probably forever as it'll likely be replaced for next season), which probably contributed to his decision to take a risk like that. Flash rarely takes risks like that because he plays so many games that his time is better spent refining the basic understanding of each map to a point where he can win not only his current game but also future games on the map. This was a unique situation where he knew for a fact that he wouldn't play another TvT on this map for a long time (probably forever). Old cheesy Flash still exists inside there, he's just suppressed and this hidden expo was a tiny glimpse of him.
