But it generally is a safe and versatile build considering how as long as you don't lose a good amount of probes if terran does rush you, the game is even at worst. Man, terrans need to stop bitching about "imbalances". I really wish zerg players would start bitching about how bad terran are. If terran scouts the 12nex they can either put down a really fast CC or they can bunker and use the vulture which will almost always kill the nexus.

It can still be a tricky maneuver for terran to pull off. Nonetheless, even if the nexus is killed, terran still is not ahead.

It can still be a tricky maneuver for terran to pull off. Nonetheless, even if the nexus is killed, terran still is not ahead. actually, you are pretty wrong. The only thing terran is not ahead is current mineral and probe count However The terran now is ahead an expansion and has vultures and mine tech. The terran can now follow up like MVP does, place mines to abuse late Obs timing, and put down a third which is especially safe if protoss decides to retake his nat. This will put terran in a huge position for a 8 fact timing attack, once protoss realises this and takes +2 more expansions.

MVP proceeds to take a third without pressure, relying, among other things, on fast mines, but if a terran chooses to kill the nex, they are not "ahead an expansion".

Assuming T doesn't over-commit and only sends about 5 SCVs and gets like 2 marines total and a vulture, expanding asap after that and brings most SCVs back when Nex is nearly dead and holds the bunker until P has range, his expansion will be done before P even starts his nat again and he won't have any trouble defending. T isn't ahead if he over-commits I guess...

And to think, we were "this" close to a Flash vs. Forgg final (Forgg would have rolled Effort)
