All-killed out of the Winners League playoffs, STX SouL brushed off the loss and is now back in business, flaunting its legendary depth once again. No longer a single matchup specialist and a one-time Winners League all-killer, Shuttle is fast becoming a fixture on the lineup. Bogus was sent out twice and won twice, against Zerg and Protoss. No more play time for you, Frozen! STX has a man for every occasion -- up against Jaedong? Coach Kim pulls Modesty out of his ass, and the humble Zerg overthrows the Tyrant. Kal and Calm will clean up any mess left behind by the scrubs.
eSTRO took the full brunt of the corruption scandal, losing both Sangho and Upmagic, two players suspected of match fixing. The team's top dog, Really, was at one point considered to be Top Three Terran material by a few observers jumping the gun. His m'n'm control, worse than fantasy's, has cleared us of these delusions. Nonetheless, Really is still the backbone of the team and a threat in both TvT and TvP. The rest of the roster doesn't look so hot compared to the STX armada, as only Action, hyvaa and Flying are decent. Each one of them seems promising in their own way -- especially Action and his oh so sexy hive play -- but they have yet to put up consistent results.
STX has gone 3-0 since the start of the round. eSTRO is down 0-2. Will STX confirm its fearsome form and plaster eSTRO to the booth wall? Will Kal heal the sting of losing so many times to Flash by crushing Really, while the fanboys cry "imba!" like PvT was meant to be? Will Really reuse his Match Point medic flare strategy, so popular with the fans? Will Action survive until the late game and overwhelm Bogus with plagues and swarms? Will Shuttle continue to be a baller? Will Flying's English ID live up to the Korean equivalent, Nal_rA?
