When you've got Sea and Light on the same team as you, it's hard to get enough games to improve, esp given the proleague race rules back then. He wasn't mediocre though, he still managed to consistently qualify for MSL. I still can't understand why they wld send a zerg against Ruby when he's 65% against z and just tore JD up. Unless Coach Cho wasn't expecting Ruby? But that's just plain dumb. | ||

He always had good tvz even in mbc. He got overshadowed with sea and light but in tvz he was making a bit of a name for himself. Actually there was even a moment where it seemed he picked up his vs t and p but only for a small moment. Then after losing to by.hero it seemed his confidence vs zerg fell apart. It is surprising though how after moving to ace not only is he playing well he seems to be playing on the same level vs z wise when he was back in mbc maybe i can even say better. | ||

Given recent trends these terrans are becoming even more abudant. Take light for example. Top notch TvZ and getting raped by Perfectfail in a BO3 | ||

But my point was that most Terrans are about even (46-55%) against other Terrans but Ruby is very weak in that matchup, hence putting Hiya in wld have been better. Light just plain choked against PerfectMan after all the hype during WL about him possibly challenging Flash. His 46% TvP isn't good but not epic fail. He shld have beaten PM. | ||

As it was, he showed really strong TvZ pretty much throughout his career. Regarding TvP and TvT, his career hasn't been good on the whole, but if you go back and check out his play, he's had his moments. | ||
