He's clearly got the modern solid mechanics as well as occasionally brilliant micro. He's demonstrated an ability to play PvZ in a way and on a level that very few if any other Protoss players can at the moment (his impressive 2-0 of Zero who was coming off an insane ZvP streak at the time during the last OSL is grossly underrated). He's demonstrated that he can perform under pressure (not every time, but he's not a guaranteed choker either) with games like his PL playoffs ace match against Leta last summer and him making the OSL finals as well as getting into both ro16's this year. He's also shown that he can come up with crafty builds, such as what he showed in games 1 and 2 in the OSL finals where he was way ahead in builds both times but couldn't put it together (and was facing the best player in the world). He would have won that OSL against another Terran, maybe even 3-0.

He's also demonstrated that he can sometimes play absolutely terribly, and he sometimes makes absolutely inexcusable mistakes that are painful to watch.

But to say he has "no potential" to be the next big P? Movie's like practically the definition of unrefined potential.
