Guys.....this could happen No it was a PvZ strat that never occured. I've done this before: It was revealed. Let me dig up the interview. So I can't for the life of me find the interview. It was a much more subtle build than people were predicting. Something that used to be used on a particular map, which he employed on Match Point for the win.

Was the game where Shine won the longest one?

I think it was that Movie was just as ultra aggressive. Really screwed Shine up because the veteran players considered him a newb and just focused on securing a macro advantage. ALL the players know Shine has a weak as piss late game. That's why most of the vets focused on trying to grab eco. They all thought, secure my third and this is over. The problem is shine's very good at abusing defensive players. As we saw today, Shine's a lost kitten when it comes to defending himself.

No. Just no. No about what? Did you see Movie vs UpMagic, he was behind economically early because the natural was right next to an attack from a siege tank, which UpMagic took advantage of. I don't think his PvT is bad at all, not up to par with his PvZ yet. He has shown plenty of potential to excel in both PvT and PvP. He lost to players like Canata, Really, and UpMagic who have good PvT. Comparing Upmagic's TvP to Flash is just so far beyond the pale. I don't think anyone will take it seriously...
I'm not comparing, I'm just saying Movie has the potential to play great PvT and he has shown that he can play great PvT despite what the statistics say.

So you don't think the early economic harassment from UpMagic which killed tons of probes, didn't affect Movie economically? And Move managed to make a fight out of it.
Movie was screwed the moment he let Up macro off an even amount of bases for a loong time. FYI P needs to be 1 expo ahead of the T.

What we saw in Movie vs Upmagic was Upmagic nearly throwing the game away because of awful army positioning and composition (lone tanks don't win against mass zealots). Lucky for Upmagic, he's experienced enough to stop the damage done and use the advantage he initially had to push himself back into the game. I'm pretty sure that Movie would've won the game if he wasn't put so far behind w/ all that early game harass

Why are you guys even discussing Upmagic in this thread? You do realize Upmagic got kicked out of this OSL in an offline Bo3 vs freakin Spear right? Do you guys really think that's a good comparison to Flash?

Man, you alternate so hard between posting legit, well-thought out analysis and rabid fanboyism that im getting whiplash. that lost kitten line made me laugh and remember how hard Bisu raped him in proleague with a simple 2-gate.

Remember when JD couldn't ZvP to save his life, but he somehow found the magic in his first OSL against Stork?

I think this is generally what Protosses need to do against Zerg to overcome this so called "ZvP imba", be aggressive, dont sit in your base all day long. Movie shows how it's done

just food for thought, what was/would be a bigger upset, Bisu, then no-name MBC toss vs Savior in stunning 3-0 fashion or Movie, the up and comer vs Flash, who looks just as invincible as savior did during his pre-Bisu Bonjwa time

just for curiosity, how many players won in their first run on the osl?

Yeah I mean remember Leta vs Movie? (PL finals) He already showed some signs of brilliance back then.
This is the OSL finals, he's gonna prepare like a madman for this. Dont expect him to play vs flash like he did vs upmagic. Sure, Flash is the big favourite, but bigger upsets have happened.

^ let me put it this way
movie's gonna get fucking quartered

WTF, how did Heartbreak Ridge become the map for Sets 1 and 5? Did Flash get to thumb down a map? If so, which one did he thumb down?
HBR twice is basically giving Movie a chance to win...not that I think he will anyways, but still, ugh.

For people who were around for GOMTV MSL this isn't really a question.

but this is NEW HBR.. with a much much better route to push
