He looked to be doing just muta\ling into quick hive tech, not uncommonly done in ZvP. For example Hero used it vs Bisu in their last game at Fighting Spirit.
And EffOrt uses it all the time.

Mutas do minimal damage. Iris' roving small force gets overrun by zerglings and muta. Hydras out, queens next building, lurkers soon. Also Zero has his 1 oclock up. Bunker gets killed at Iris' main, looks like iris' nat is compromised.

This was when mutas first came out, went into his main, killed like 1-2 scvs.
