Not really maybe just in PL . Jaedong has been the best zerg since like he got his first OSL win . His longest slump is no more then probably 2 - 3 weeks and he's been raping for like 3 years now .

OP is definitely a Jaedong's hater .... LOL!

No, he all killed CJ, which is why Idra made that joke.

Well i personally won't buy Flash's invincible TvZ hype until i see him beat a strong zerg (Hogil is strong but i don't think he is at the level of Zero ) in a series with it . I know he has the best TvZ by far , but Zero is no pushover . Just because of the huge hype and Flash's recent streak and solid play in the MU i would give him about 55 - 60 % of beeing the favourite over Zero . I still think it's anyone's series thought . I don't think mentality and mind games would play much of a factor with this type of format of Bo3 . I'm just expecting awesome games no matter the outcome .
On paper thought if Flash gets eliminated this looks like an easy MSL title win for JD if he can keep his ZvZ up to his levels .
|
Flash>ZerO: i have it 50/50 but since its Ultimatum, i give the edge to Flash. ZerO is very creative so im not Really counting him out ...
Canata > best: Canata is a monster pvt'er and tvz'er. on par with storks pvt and flashs tvz. map is Ultimatum as well so it does not help best a bit. Only thing best could do is pull off a sick carrier micro...
Jaedong > FireFist: jeadong lost to lower zergs but i feel that was when he was adjusting/tweaking his game since the zergs have a new standard of play
Stats > JangBi: Stats is breaking out while JangBi is in a decline. JangBi can win it tho

Hogil? Not By.Hero, Yarnc, or Type-B for ZvT? Or Effort?
I mean yeah he CRUSHED Hogil but of all people to mention as good wins in his run. :>

I don't understand why people think Zero has a big chance v Flash.. what games did he play v Terran that are making people give him close to 50/50 v Flash?

Same. Or this thought that he has better muta micro than JD.
His only 52% v T and his only wins in the last 2 months are against Hwasin, Light, Firebathero and Bogus (light and hwasin are good but this is only 5 games, 2 against FBH, in a long time).

If Zero beats Flash I'm gonna be soooo sick for voting against him..
|
ZerO's chances against Flash really depend on what sort of mindset he can show up with, given his streaky nature. Last time he was owning up (when he ended up above Jaedong in the PR) he promptly went for a horrible losing streak right after and looked to be playing terrible again. His two losses against STX are a bad omen here, and if he lets those get to him he'll probably be crushed. If he plays at his highest level though, the way he has been playing lately... well then he certainly has a good chance (although I would still consider Flash the favourite of course).

Aaahhh back ^_^ After a long while of everyone most likely missing my amazing analysis and comments and... yeah, right.
First off to JWD: You should be happy that 2 SKT players play against each other in the Ro16, since now we at least get to see one of them in the Ro8.
And then predictions! Best vs Canata I would say is in Best's favor quite heavily. Even though Canata is able to play aggressive and relatively non-standard builds every once in a while, his boring, standard macro style plays straight into Best's hands and Best should, in fact, have no difficulty in taking this. However, the teamkill matches tend to never make sense, so I predict Canata to defeat Best!
Flash vs Zero is by far my most anticipated match-up of the night! I'd have put Flash as the clear favorite if it wasn't for his recent loss to Hyun! He can't make that kind of mistakes against Zero or his muta micro will wreck Flash. I'm expecting a 2 hatch muta build from Zero. A lot depends on the starting positions, but Ultimatum should be able to at least somewhat prevent Flash's normal aggressive style against 2 hatch muta, and hence it might actually work out in Zero's favor. Still, I'll go for Flash. This should be an awesome game none-the-less.
Jaedong vs Firefish should be... umm an annihialation. Firefist has improved during the past few months quite a bit but even so, I don't think he's even close to Jaedong's level. As long as JD doesn't do one of his famous 12-hatches and lose to 9-pool speed, he should win easily. Nothing more to say about this.
JangBi vs Stats is the MU I will most likely skip completely. Don't find either player interesting at this point in time, and I hate PvP almost as much as TvT. I'm predicting JangBi to win, although Stats isn't as huge of an underdog as it might seem at first. He's actually been playing quite well as of late and most of this match's outcome depends on wether or not Jangbi is actually getting back into form or just has gotten lucky. We will see!
Aahh what a long post ^_^ Hoping for good games, Ee Jhedong hwaiting.
EDIT: Zero doesn't have better mutas than JD wtf. Let's see him stack 22 mutas together.

this seems about right, stats pride

Predictions :
BeSt < Ultimatum > Canata - what can i say its best playing pvt
Flash < Ultimatum > ZerO - think Flash should take this but this is real tvz test for him
Jaedong < Fighting Spirit > FireFist - JvZ dont need to say more...
JangBi < Match Point > Stats - giving this to JangBi looks like he is finaly out of his slump

Do you know nothing of his amazing macro, late game play, etc? And have you seriously never watched a single on of his games, which would easily confirm the reality of his amazing muta micro?
Jesus christ, anyone who thinks Zero isnt a serious threat to flash is deluded, and im a huge fan of Flash. Zero is probably the 2nd best zerg ATM.

he imo is the second best zerg and probably better than jaedong in zvp and mid/late macro/management. he is very creative as well and known for his queens
ultimatum is a very terran favored map but i think if zero tries to be creative and use unorthodox strategies like queens... he might be able to pull it off

Err....I'm a bit scared to see JangBi playing against Stats. JangBi haven't really prove himself against high tier players hopefully he'll prove me wrong or something.
