Man these protoss players know maelstrom can stop mutalisks but forget to bring anything to attack them with.

Horang seems to be having trouble controlling his units. Zerglings attack and his dragoons are positioned in such a way that the archons can't get a piece of the action.
We're likely getting a drop.

What army of zealots he does have are all plagued. Lots of ultralisks but a crapload of reavers save Horang for now.

His army wasn't huge at all.
But rather, Horang's army's pitifully small and bad in composition(zealots vs defiler/ultra!?). That he got ran over by a mediocre army. That was a lot of wasted resources on DAs and DTs.

Am I the only one who feels that Zergs seem to be really out of practise against normal Bio recently? Pre-lair sunken break is like one of the most standard timing pushes in SC, and yet they have failed miserably against it recently by being greedy.

Zerg players would rather lose than spend 350 minerals for 2 extra sunkens.

It's pretty common to see progamers make horrible adjustments to builds they don't practice for. I mean, when you practice 10 hours a day against 1 Rax into Expansion, you just don't know the proper timing and marine count when terran goes 2 Rax into Expansion.
It is weird, but 2 Rax BO probably became irrelevant before these younger guys became progamers.

And considering he's been playing the game 10 hours a day for several years time he ought to have bumped into 2 Rax FE more than a few times. The timing push is virtually the same anyway.

i meant the timing should never work out that way, when terran tries to break sunkens vs 3 hatch muta, the mutas would come out earlier than hyvaa's mutas.

Leta's attack could actually have been faster if he'd gone gas/acad simultaneously and cut scvs. You need 3 sunkens against 2 rax expo --> stim timing., especially at such close positions. I mean come on, 3:45 academy when you've got 6 rines!? Clearly you're going to have 6 more when it finishes at 4:30, giving 2 medics at 4:50, move out then, stim done by 5:30, 30 seconds before standard 2 hatch muta finishes.
It's a nasty timing that forces 3rd sunken. Was pure fail by Hyvaa not to put up 3 sunks when he saw the cc timing.

Just watched the VOD. Things I noted: Leta started making 2 rines when Hyvaa's drone was still in his base, and the cancelled them when the drone went out in order to get a faster CC. Hyvaa added a 3d hatchery in his main right before the 5 minute mark. Leta then hit with perfect timing at about 5:40, pretty much exactly as mutas were in making. It seemed to me that making that hatchery delayed his mutas by a little, because he didn't make them immediately after his Spire finished. So, Leta had perfect timing, and Hyvaa had a less than perfect build.

Since then didn't put upmagic in their line up, I really hoped eSTRO would be able to win twice and take the match to Outsider SE and then send up out for another great match like the one vs. Lux.
