The seventh tournament will be held on Saturday the 6th of February. Check-in time will be 60 minutes (so tourney will start whenever we have 32 players - first in get in!). See below for times. The maps used this week will be Destination in round 1 [BO1], Match Point in round 2 [BO1], God's Garden in round 3 [BO1], Outsider in the semi-finals [BO3] and Eye of the Storm {BO3] in the Final. These maps are only used for the first game in the BO3 and then loser picks. I will be the co-host along with Tournament administrator iCCup.HotDog.

This is the first tournament where a pay-in of 50 ladder points will be required and where ladder point prizes are handed out to 1st-4th places.

Australia and New Zealand residents only - flag/IP required for signup
iCCup Tournament Rules apply tournament rules
Observers allowed upon agreement from both players.
iCCup AntiHack Launcher must be used.
The maps will be Destination (R1), Match Point (R2), God's Garden (R3), Outsider (SF) and Eye of the Storm (GF) in the first game, and subsequent maps will be chosen by the loser. NO PREDOMINANTLY 2v2 MAPS.
Random is allowed.
Choosing race for a specific matchup is allowed but mutually exclusive matchups will revert to their main race.

1st - 1,000 ladder points
2nd - 800 ladder points
3rd/4th - 600 ladder points

A few years ago I smurfed starcraft.co.nz as part of an ongoing joke with fonger (who was a clanmate at the time). Plan was to both hugely exaggerate and hype a rivallry between each other then play an epic public series for lulz with mind control and firebat drops and battle cruisers vs carriers and shit like that. At the time fonger and I were pretty well matched. But the NZ community was pretty cool and the UK community at the time sucked so I ended up getting drawn in. I came clean a few days after joining and nobody had a problem with me sticking around.

So I am a member of the NZ bw community but I have absolutely no geographical right to be a part of it. I'm only there because I want to be, they're cooler than the UK community. If any NZs object to my participation I do always respect that though.

'fraid I'm gonna have to stick by the rules and say Aus and NZ residents only. If you were here visiting or something it would be fine but maybe in the future we can organise some other showmatch between UK and Aus during The Ashes or even a competition with the Commonwealth Nation teams or something.

But yeah it's easy enough to include the UK in some future independent competition where we can arrange a better timezone.
