not as a player, the difference between ret and say, DracO is that DracO competed in his national finals while ret has had no national finals to attend. Unless (this is extremely unlikely) WCG opens an online qualification directly to the grand finals like they are doing with Trackmania, there is almost no chance that ret will be there.

Fuck yeah! Nostalgia clouding everything FTW!

I don't know how you can say this will suck hard. Oh yeah, it's just because it's not taking place four years ago. Seriously this WCG will be awesome just like the others.

Good luck to all the foreigners! I don't expect the Koreans to lose to any non-Koreans, but I'm always happy to see upsets

It will be cool, although the Korean lineup has probably never been this strong...but always interesting to see new faces + Idra vs the world - Korea.

no, this wcg can't be like others when there aren't so many countries like before and few countries sent less players then before (usa, russia).. there aren't spain, sweden, finland, nederland, hungary, romania, bulgaria, canada, argentina, brasil... in those countries are great players and without them it's not WORLD cyber games...

Yes that's unfortunate but It's still going to be pretty great regardless. I just wish I were going to the event

There is no information about WCG Hungary/Kazakhstan as well as a few others.

Kazakhstan won't send any sc players this year.

Malaysia will be sending 3 representatives this year. Our organizers have requested the players to buy the flight tickets themselves and everything else will be settled and this means we will be able to see johnrambo and cobo in the grand final!

wowow, that's unexpected, can Cobo post and say if he thinks he might be going? Or if someone has contact with him, that would be fantastic. Sorry about the slow updates, I didn't have internet for a few days. I actually knew about Kazakhstan but forgot I had posted anything.

Hi.
I need some info. How much does one slot to grand finals cost, and until when a nation have to confirm the list of participants? Maybe any of the polish guys could help me (raven ..), they have experience with that

I heard that thuoclao might not be participating grand finals as he has to pay for his own ticket.
