A question to anyone who has qualified or anyone who knows anyone who has: Do you need to get a VISA to go to China, is it hard to get? Is there a chance that anyone won't be able to go because of that reason.

I know this is different for every question, but if you have information (if you've traveled to China, if you live in China, etc.) I would really appreciate it.

Assuming you're Canadian from your profile, you probably do but it shouldn't be too expensive (probably around $30 Canadian). I know I would've needed one had I gone but I can't make it.

If any Bulgarian is interested, BFES has said on their website that if you have the money to compete ($1000 to compete + airfare) you just need to send them an e-mail and you can compete for Bulgaria at the WCG. The cutoff date is the 18th of October though, so if you want to go, you'll have to contact them quickly. The e-mail address can be found on the WCG Bulgaria site http://www.bfes.bg/news.php?item.234.1

There's a room available to share, the dates of the room are November 9th - 16th. The cost would be about $200, which is half for a room with 2 beds. If you get a single king bed, it costs the same, so sharing is a better option.

Crow is the only player who can pay for his trip, so he will compete for the Czech Republic, despite PredY winning the qualifier.

A guy named Ramah Nyang won the Kenyan qualifier, he is apparently a local news anchor and plays Terran

americans need visas to visit china. Canadians do too as far as i know.
they cost around $60 and can be had in a week or even two days if rushed. just search chinese visa. you just send your passport and the printed application form. they mail your Pport back and voila.
