Was testing some mining placements when i randomly found out how to stack mines. This makes mines blow up at the same time but the con is they wont move so the enemy has to run into the mines, which they usually do anyway.
How to is to try place mine as close to impassable terrain as possible until it works, then repeat.

Edit: Im so stupid.. You can mine stack like this by putting mines through minimap xD Then you can use it on chokes or center of map or whatever place.
Edit2: After doing some more testing i find that this is very useful indeed. In most cases it outweighs putting single mines on places of just the fact that opponent usually gets hit by 1 mine then falls back, this would instead kill whole armies :D

Terrans DO need help with mines.. Not doing enough damage n all... ; D
This can be useful early game especially. Once goons are out all half aware people would just slowly push and kill em no observers.
BUT if u have tanks behind it becomes imba again as the mines will not drag into the tanks which is a problem for Terran.
Can u post ur test map so I can do some testing myself?

Mine stacking is good in tvt. When you stack mines and goliaths/tanks kill the above mine, the mine underneath will deal dmg most of the times

Ive now tried it in real games and stacking 2 mines takes very little time and effort and close to always makes one mine do damage.
Mines have a trigger time where they lift and wait, this is nullified if you stack it. Once the above mine is gone the other mine runs.
Goliaths seems to be able to stop this most of the time.
This removes mine drag from lings which is pleasant to see.
