In the recent KCM Race Survival, Best managed to beat Flash by showing an early DT+goon+Reaver harass that surprised Flash. http://vod.afreecatv.com/PLAYER/STATION/60316077(Timestamp: 2:18:42 - 2:31:00). A week later, he used the same strategy against Rush but this time, his tactics had been well read and Rush survived the initial DT onslaught with well-placed Turrets and went on to beat Best, kiting a few HTs with his vultures in the process before ending the game. http://vod.afreecatv.com/PLAYER/STATION/60603487(Timestamp: 1:39:20 - 2:07:20).
Here are a few thoughts on how pros like Best can further enhance their PvT matchups, by incorporating shuttle drops with DTs or HTs. The video below is an example of a DT-Shuttle drop by Stork whereby it was executed even in the middle of some mine clusters.
Loaded HTs + HTs on ground support technique An example is by using storm drops in addition to HTs being mixed with the army. The idea here is that if you have already trained 2 HTs (for example), then train 2 more HTs and then load them into a shuttle where you vary your army, (even if the vultures managed to kite the HTs), you have 2 more HTs in the shuttle where you can storm drop). The video below best illustrates the idea given.
(Timestamp: 30:40 - 31:00), Jangbi had 2 HTs loaded in a shuttle, and 2 more HTs as ground support and storm drops were used in addition to the psi storm casted by HTs on the ground. Storm drops is one way of defending the HTs from vulture snipes.
The Arbiter cloak technique Another example is to take advantage of the Arbiter cloak field. It is important to cloak the HTs together with the main army as they are vulnerable. A video below demonstrates Jangbi cloaking his HTs with an Arbiter while casting psi storms.
(Timestamp: 24:10 - 25:00).
The Carriers' Interceptors technique A further example, in the case of defending HTs or using them against Goliaths (when the Protoss player masses carriers and the Terran player masses Goliaths), is by using the Carriers' Interceptors to draw fire from the Goliaths while at the same time, storm drops are being used against them. The idea is that while the Interceptors draw fire from the Goliaths, thus keeping the shuttle (loaded with HTs) free from enemy fire, and the unloaded HTs will then storm the preoccupied Goliaths.
The video below best demonstrates this technique. (Timestamp: 23:10 - 23:50).
The Hallucination technique Finally, one last method to defend HTs is by hallucinating zealots as meat shields to defuse/ clear mines and to escape from vultures, though this method is not as practical or recommended as compared to Psionic Storm.
The video below shows Bisu defusing mines with hallucinated zealots. (Timestamp: 27:20 - 27:45)
Just pointing out all these techniques are not new and already used by pros to different extents and each player's preferences. DT drops into 2 base arbiter are gaining popularity again and putting HTs into shuttles is quite common late game PvT.
Btw watching these vods again reminds how me how good Jangbi was with storming tanks, haven't seen another Protoss replicate it tbh.

You are welcome. Yes, putting HTs into shuttles or aka storm drops is quite common, but however, using storm drops and casting additional psi storms by HTs (on ground) simultaneously, is rarely seen, probably because of the micro skills required to do so.
And yes, Jangbi is the best PvTer of all time in my opinion.

Agree! For me, he is the best at PvT and not only because of his outstanding storms.
Yeah, to me it's not even close about who is the best PvTer. If protoss players want to improve and beat the top terrans, they can look no further than Jangbi's games. There's a lot with him that has never been replicated.
Updated with an example of defending HTs or using them against Goliaths when the Protoss goes carriers.
EDIT: Also, hallucinated zealots can be used as meat shields against mines and vultures, which is another method of defending the High Templars, though usually, psionic storm is given more preference due to its high damage output
