maps: Fighting Spirit Python
for builds try liquipedia, even if its a bit outdated it helps if you are beginner. or watch some VoDs from pros and try to copy.

Modern builds aren't compatible with the map Python. You can't even forge fast expand safely on Python in PvZ.

Yeah well, I'd say its best to start with Fighting Spirit and an Macro build.

What are modern tvx builds then? I can't exactly use outdated builds because then I wouldn't be learning in a more correct fashion, and I'm not too familiar with BW tournaments

Look up : TvP : Fake Double TvT : vulture expand TvZ : 1 rax fe into something you like (go on liquipedia and watch vods)
Actually, modern TvP seems to have taken 1rax FE as a standard as well as it allows for a really strong economy and many open options in the midgame. 1rax FE can also be used TvT. I'd think it would be a decent build to start off with for all three matchups.

1 rax FE TvP is not that common, plus it's fairly hard to pull off at low level, so I'd advise against it. As for TvT, I'm not qualified, but I think it's not that easy to defend against a lot of other builds... Anyway who plays TvT at low level on iccup...
I would 1 Rax FE into +1 4 rax TvZ, 1 Rax Fe in TvT ( you can learn the followups yourself by watching vods theres too many adaptations to list ), and FD, Vult FE, or Seige FE (they all function relatively similar in terms of economy with differences only in how you execute them) in TvP into a fast ebay and second fact before armory (perhaps skiping ebay based on your scouting). Make sure you have a timing to scout for toss third or scan toss base if you get a fast academy so that you can timing push the protoss if they are making low numbers of units.

not only is it hard to survive, its actually quite hard to transition from it. theres no way for you to apply any pressure or harrassment and you have to be good at retaking map control because rax fe completely gives away map control to the protoss.

Yes, it is that common. Last 10 Flash games vP with builds he used early game: 1 Rax FE vs Dear 1 Rax FE vs Jangbi 1 Rax FE vs M18M Random, whacky, 2 rax build vs Bisu 1 Rax FE vs Jangbi 14CC vs Jangbi 1 Rax FE vs Horang2 FD vs Jangbi Proxy 8 rax vs M18M 1 Rax FE vs Dear.
That's easily the most used build by Flash. Fantasy, on the other hand, seems to use a wider array of builds, but he has used 3 1 Rax FEs in his last 10 games, and like 4 FDs over the last 10 games. I'm not quite sure. Could be five. However, 1 Rax FEs are definitely used a lot more now because it's a very strong build that Terrans should learn TvP. :/

The Flash vs Bisu opening was a response to Bisu using a 2 Gate zealot proxy so maybe you shouldn't even consider that one.
I would say that 1 rax fe is worth learning at some time but at a lower level can bog you down in frustration and prevent you from focusing on other things.
I was wondering if there was a trick with mining gas on the first assimilator you build. What I noticed from the korean fpvods is that they seem to send the probes to gas before the assimilator even completes the building animation. Normally, if you select your probes and right click on the gas before it finishes the complete animation, your probes will simply go there but not mine gas.
I just wanted to know if it's really because their timing is that precise or are they using some tricks like shift click?

i dont think theres any tricks. just put 3 probes into gas when its done. i mean you can do it like a second early and spam click the assimilator if you want...
what i usually do in pvt is to use the probe making the core then shift click on the assimilator and select two probes that just returned minerals and put them onto the assimilator
Im sorry, i searched the site but im blind and cant find anything about 4 factory early game goliath push vs zerg, so im not able to get an answer to my little question: how to stop this? i had 13 hydra vs 10 goliaths and lost clearly :/ my conclusion is that hydras get really hardcountered by goliaths
In your replay you did a weird opening, you added 2 gasas after the 3rd hatch so you floated a lot of gas that you did not/couldn't use. You started lurker upgrade blindly, not scouting what your opponent is doing at all and lurkers are almost useless vs mech and then you engaged with un-upgraded hydras vs goliaths on highground. And you floated 1500-2000 resources which is about 15-20 hydras.
Basically, you should learn a proper build from liquipedia, 3 hatch muta is the best to start with imo http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/3_Hatch_Muta_(vs._Terran) . If you did a 3 hatch muta vs this build he would be stuck at his base. While you are harassing, you would see he is going mech so you add a 4th hatch at a 3rd base, cancel lurker upgrade and start hydra upgrades. If he pushes without proper defenses you kill his eco with mutas while making sunkens for defense from goliaths and make the 4th hatch at your main so you can pump hydras later on. Also take this advice with a grain of salt since I'm only D/D+

Sorry that hasn't answered my question. Here's an example so you understand
Watch from 20:30 to 20:40, I'm pretty sure he sent the probes to gas before it stopped blinking, and he doesn't touch it again. However, the fact that he stayed there for a bit suggests he may have did a second action, which I couldn't see.
If I send my probes at that time and just right click, I'm pretty sure they won't mine the gas.

ever since blizzard has been testing the new battle.net equipment, there has been a "USTest" gateway along with USEast/West/Asia/Europe. it makes it so that when i try to go on iccup. sometimes the iccup gateway doesn't show up. it's really annoying
