Lets talk about sunkens breakthrough, can someone specifically describe the BO in more detail.

Also, if you have reps with a successful 3 rax opening please post it up and describe the situation. I'm very tired of the 2 rax tech to tank and science vessel build before expo.

This is also my weakest matchup by far. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

If you are willing to get the 1.10 patch, look at the very old wgtour tournament news. The wgtour season 2 title was won by stinger. His tvz was a 3 rax +1 armor build. It absolutely demolished all of his zerg opponents(anon and twisted were the noteable ones). I think that's a very good example of how to utilize 3rax.

another successful rep is joyo vs twisted i believe, the liquibition on LT. since twisted had to go 3 hatch being at 12, joyo took advantage and went 3 rax.

back when i played T, i used 3 rax all the time. but hteres different ways to use it. u can go like 3 rax - acadamy - xpo if ur reaallly good at micro vs lurkers but u cant fuck up. if they go mutas and u go 3 rax they are fucked tho ^^ so if u can dont let htem know ur 3 raxing (which u prolly wont be able to do). You cant break sunkens. period. if u wanna rush and they got 4 sunkens just contain and make them hop their lurkers out untill u have the xpo going and u got the rest of ur tech. thats how it works in theory.....

Another tight 3 rax is fast expand - 3 rax. if the Z fast xpos u can do it too...u can figure it out. i think hasuwar had a nice commentary with it

yes +1 armor ownz sunks b/c instead of 2 hits, itll take 3 to kill a marine+theres more time to heal with meds

normally u cant break the sunkens and win it there or even do any real damage ^^ just my thoughts though im not near as gosu as some people here ^^

if they do 3 hatch before gas, then it can do some major damage because their lurks will come late. if they do 2 hatch and get their 3rd hatch later, then it probably won't do much even if you break the sunkens.

yeah i didnt think about min then gas hatch. but i was assuming LT and no1 does that on LT lol ^^ that ive seen anyways

lots of people do 3 hatch power on LT. just look at blackman or xian[3.33], or any zerg at 12:00

edit: no im not talking about a 3rd expo.

I never played in liquibition vs joyo :o

3 rax is usually a timing issue, when to attack.

Also, you can plow down 6 sunkens easily when you have about 8 medics and about 20 marines, range is necessary when attacking sunkens. Targetting the sunks helps too, if he comes with drones, target the drones with about 4 of your stimmed rines with shift click shift click shift click so those drones melt away in no time.

ive seen spawn go 3 rax alot, just look at a replay of his ;d

Pure 3 isnt very good though, imo ;d need to like get vessel first then add 3rd rax or tank then 3rd rax ;d or fast upgrade and 3rax :D

3 Rax is great vs Mutal but if your looking for the replays just watch [Oops]ClouD he does that strat ALOT
