go last.fm much better alternative anyways. no commercials and better music. i use last.fm and i live in usa. | ||

From some of the early replies, something tells me that the kind of people who play SC and visit this particular forum aren't the kind of people who are wired towards music in that way. I also think they are rigid sort of people. For them there is a "right way" for everything and everyone and that way is their way. ^_^ Oh well, zerg rush. | ||

Beyond this though, it is a distraction (your brain can only do so much at once). You are best off listening to something that doesn't get your mind thinking too much about lyrics, melody, or development. Trance, "ethnic" beats, baroque music - all good choices. Metal is good when you're about to all in someone hard, or as liquipedia classifies: your mentality should be "aggression." | ||

Thank You for that post., yes, last.fm works i would think. Thank you for that suggestion for those outside of the US. Also, for those who listen to KPop, there isnt much to say about it, it all sounds the same to me... just get stuff like Epik High, Wondergirls and other stuff like that and choose your favorite music =D | ||

-BW Music -My Music -No Music I personally don't like no music because it's boring. I sometimes like listening to the BW music, but I would prefer the quick pace of the Terran music as opposed to the Protoss music. Sometimes my music drags (sometimes slow songs get into the playlist) or they outshine Aldaris and I miss key things (like building a robotics facility or templar archives). | ||

Although lately playing with no music at all has been rather appealing, but I think that is just because I like to hear the probe noise over and over again while i spam hotkeys | ||
