Basically this is some pre-match interview with the A-Team members of SK Telecom T1 to share their thoughts on Hwaseung's advancement into the Grand Finals, as well as declaring their intents to win.
SK Telecom T1 A-team: "We will make sure we win."
▲ MuMyung Coach: I can think of nothing else but the thought that we have to win at all costs. Jaedong is a really good player, and I am also a player who praises other players well. When I became the coach of this team, I used Jaedong as a benchmark for many things. I also make my players watch his VODs, even if I have to force them to do it. Jaedong is a player whom I can't stop praising enough, but our team has Bisu, BeSt, Fantasy, Canata as well as many other players who don't fall behind Jaedong. Lastly, I am aware that there are many who are worrying about how active our Zerg line up will play a role in the Grand Finals. 'Do-Taek-Myung' (TN: BeSt, Bisu and Fantasy trio) and Canata are doing well but I believe that if the SKT1 Zerg line up bucks up a bit more, we will be able to take the win with much more ease.
▲ iloveoov player-coach: Hwaseung's win does not contribute to the development of e-sports at all. For the sake of the development of e-sports, SK Telecom T1 will definitely win.
▲ BoxeR: As I watched Hwaseung face off against CJ today in day 2, I felt that they were lacking in terms of strategy. That is why, just in case, I will think of all possible factors that may be a hindrance to our goal of raising the winning cup and make sure SK Telecom T1 wins.
▲ fantasy: After we secured our number 1 spot, I thought, 'we still have a lot of time'. But now that the Grand Finals is just around the corner, I am starting to feel nervous. The Grand Finals is taking place in my hometown Pusan, so I will make sure that I put on a good performance. I watched the last Proleague Grand Finals' VODs and I realised that all the Pusan boys such as Samsung Khan's Jangbi or Hite (then OnGameNet) Sparkyz's Leta won their games. That is why I somehow feel that I too will win. Exactly 3 years ago, when SK Telecom T1 won the Grand Finals, I was active as a practice partner. Back then, I helped all the Pusan players with practice and when they won, I couldn't help but feel content and proud. Now that I am in the team, I want to help lead my team into victory.
▲ Canata: I thought that we would be facing CJ. But things tipped to Hwaseung's favor when it got to the final ace match and Jaedong was sent out. CJ has a better player balance overall but Hwaseung, with its super ace card, advanced instead. However, our team has a super ace card as well, and I believe that our team's player balance is much better than Hwaseung's. That is why if we get to play the final ace match, we believe that we'll still win in the end. If I get sent out, regardless of whether I face Jaedong or any other player, I will be able to perform better as I have experience playing in the Grand Finals, and even if I don't get sent out, I will make use of my experience to help other players and contribute to our team's victory.
▲ Mong: If I get sent out, I will practice hard to win. Even if I don't get sent out, I will help by helping other players with practice.
▲ Hyuk: I have gained a lot of confidence as I prepared for the Grand Finals. If I am given the chance to play, I feel that I will definitely be able to win. I want to face against Jaedong out of all the Hwaseung players. I will prepare as I await my match against Jaedong.
▲ Thezerg: I felt that Hwaseung will advance, and they did. Jaedong plays well, but strategy and tactic-wise, it's easier to face Hwaseung than CJ. From our team's point of view, we are glad to be in such a good situation. If I get sent out, I want to win a game and contribute to the team's win.
▲ s2: I am not certain on being sent out but if I do, I will do my best to defeat my opponent at all costs.
▲ n.Die_soO: I will not lose regardless of who I face.
▲ BeSt: This is the first Grand Finals since my entry into the team. I am very happy to be able to play at Gwang-an-ri, and if I get to play on stage, I want to win and contribute to the team. Our team ranked first place in the overall season while Hwaseung ranked second. The Grand Finals will be the same.

If it ever does get to that stage *touches wood* it'll probably be JD vs Fantasy, something tells me it won't be bisu even though i really want it to be.
It seems the coach is rather focused on JD though, making everyone watch his vods, he's definitely a threat.

lol, good luck with that.
actually that's the best solution for SKT, being able to put hyuk vs. JD both days, cause then they'll only give one match away instead of JD winning one game and hyuk losing one

tbh I think he says that cause seeing a one man team rape the shit out of such a good lineup would remove some of the often assumed critical importance of depth of lineup, and would make watching proleague less exciting as a whole.
Interesting to know 'Do-Taek-Myung' (TN: BeSt, Bisu and Fantasy trio) since we have a similar slang to call them FBB as a resemblance to a popular Chinese actress Fan Bing Bing.

Let's see if iloveoov can back up his words by playing. How does SKT T1 winning contribute to the "Development of e-sports" while Hwaseung doesn't? Such a vague term, he's like a politician.

err... don't really see ur logic or where ur basing ur opinions on.
oov didn't buy any players, i doubt he has any authority to do so, even if he did, whats wrong with trading players?
its true of what he has said though, some posters above have said it, what good does a team that centered all their strengths/energies on just a single player does? in proleagues matches i want to see teams with strong line-ups to produce alot of entertaining games against each other, i'm not keen on seeing a team full of fails playing against other teams which produce alot of horrible games and only to have jaedong to redeem the entire team, if i wanna see jaedong goes on a killing spree, i'd watch osl or msl or any individual leagues he's in.

I wouldn't give Jaedong better than even odds against Bisu on the day1 or day2 ace. The "let's hope JD wins all the ace matches" strategy is only valid if JD can in fact win all the ace matches, and out of all the other progamers, I'd say Bisu has the best chances of stopping him.

Not to mention that, since Fantasy is a legitimate contender for the Ace/Super Ace, Jaedong has to prepare 2 matchups. He can't afford to split his practice time 80/20 like he did vs. CJ, because Fantasy is a much more real threat than Skyhigh.
Hmm if this is an interview with the a team of skt1 that means, either bisu defeat to yellow has dropped him to the b team or he's now part of the super secret S team
How can anyone not like Oz, they're like every hilarious sports movie team; at first they sucked and was really depressing because like half the team was disabled and the coach has a drinkng problem, but then along comes a improbably placed ridiculous demi-god which the team rallies around (gets carried by) all the way to the championship to fight the odious douche-bag conglomerate who talks a lot of shit. I imagine in the next few days Jaedong is gonna be struck by lightening, then the rest of the team will fall into hopeless dispair until, back from the grave Jaedong limps into the room and tells them they didn't need him to win, all they needed was to believe in themselves. Then they storm out and promptly lose the first set 4-0 and Jaedong returns and carries them to the super ace match but then, in dramatic fashion, sends the adorable cripple up to bat (backho) and he flukes a victory. Tell that isn't good for e-sports

Fantasy Bisu Canata Boxer Best imba line-up !
When I see how close was Canata to defeat JD and that OZ got 4-0ed by CJ on day 2, im feeling pretty confident. Especially because I think that if all the games between Canata and JD were played on the same day, Canata would have won. I really hope there will be a rematch for Canata!
One part of me knows it would be wise to send out Hyuk against JD. The other part wants fantasy to wipe the floor with him in both OSL and Grand Finals. Week of Jaedong?
I actually hoped CJ to win all cause they're the only team that's... worth to love. but oh well T1 monster lineup best fantasy bisu is sick --v lecaf players... Young etc. comon now. Pull a tight game then a JD vs Bisu ace then let the zerg for god sake win :D

I love how you put almost every KTF purchases that have been made, whereas only SKT players on the "current" team. Yeah, not to skew the data or anything.
honestly.. a BeST, Fantasy, Bisu, Canata, TheZerg lineup might be too hard for OZ to beat Each of these players has had experiance on the big stage, and most of them have made a deep SL run. Oz only has JD... Even if JD wins his game you can almost guarentee the other SKT players to win their games..

It makes sense because Oz won't win the finals, so their victory over CJ has no impact on SC history. Also because SKT1 is the champion of PL, so they must continue their historic tradition and win.

Haven't many players, including Boxer and iloveoov, said that Starcraft needs one star that shines above the rest, and that this kinda thing was what made Starcraft so popular and draw in so many fans back in the old days?
If Jaedong won Proleague carrying his team on his back, wouldn't he in fact become this golden star/bonjwa that fans liked so much from the old days?
