Upon request, I'll post the rest of the interviews in one thread, with updates constantly.

Previous two interview batches are A and B winners' and C and D winners' interviews.

The overall results are here.

+ Show Spoiler +

+ Show Spoiler [Group E Winner - go.go] +

go.go: "I will never drop til the preliminaries again."
"I have my own prelim know-hows."

(T)go.go has successfully qualified this season's OSL after his win in his group E of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with go.go.

- Your thoughts on your qualification for the OSL?
▲ There are many players who make it into the semifinals or the finals in the preliminaries. That is why with good preparation, anyone can qualify for the OSL. Even if a player whom I did not anticipate qualifies, I have confidence in my abilities to win.

- How were your matches today?
▲ My match against NsP_Sharp in the Round of 8 was very tough. I was playing in the front row, and the door was open, so my hands were freezing. Furthermore, NsP_Sharp played really well, so I won due to a lot of luck.

- Did you feel pressured about the possibility of being eliminated in the preliminaries?
▲ I did not put unnecessary burden on myself. Since I played (in the preliminaries) quite often, I've formed my own know-hows. Other players prepare counter-builds in order to win, but I do not know what may happen in game, so I practice freestyle, so that I can handle any situation.

- Your targets?
▲ My target for this OSL is not just the Round of 16, but much higher so that I will never have to go through the preliminaries again.

- Any final words?
▲ I hope my teammates do well. I played in the Survivor Tournament yesterday late into the night, but I lost so I was very angry. That is why I left without saying a word to my fans, and I feel really sorry for that. I will not do that anymore in the future, so I hope they can forgive me.

+ Show Spoiler [Group F Winner - Juni] +

Juni: "I am glad to finally play on my dream stage."
"I will definitely get into the Round of 16 and go through the group selection stage."

(Z)Juni has successfully qualified his first OSL after his win in his group F of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with Juni.

- Your thoughts on your first OSL qualification?
▲ I am glad to finally play on my dream stage. The previous one was MBCGame's Survivor Tournament, so I did not feel that excited, but this time it is the Ongamenet Starleague, so I am very happy. The OSL stage is very grand, so I've always wanted to play on its stage, and that dream has finally come true.

- Did you lack practice?
▲ The other players are facing the same situation. Playing with the thought that everyone else lacked practice helped me greatly in winning my games today.

- Your toughest game?
▲ I won the Round of 9 easily, but in the Round of 4, I simply gave away the first game, so I was very nervous. Furthermore, in the second game, my hatchery was destroyed so I was in a very dangerous situation, but my opponent let his guard down so I was able to make a comeback. In the third game, I did not keep my advantage and overdid myself by wasting my units, so I always lost. That is why the match against (P)Much was the toughest.

- What motivated you in winning your second game against Much?
▲ It was very disadvantageous for me, but playing with the mindset that I cannot be eliminated now helped me greatly.

- You seem to be playing well recently.
▲ The weather has been very fine, that is why I think my matches are getting better (laughs).

+ Show Spoiler [Group G Winner - Miracle] +

Miracle: "I think I will perform better than the previous OSL."
"I am happier than when I first qualified."

(T)Miracle has successfully qualified this season's OSL after his win in his group G of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with Miracle.

- You have successfully qualified for your second consecutive OSL.
▲ I am happier than when I first qualified. When I first qualified, I was still in a daze so I did not even realize that I was happy. There are now matches that I have to prepare for, so my desire to win is greater, which I think will help me to work harder.

- Were you confident in today's preliminaries?
▲ I told myself that I can qualify as long as I defeat (T)fOrGG. I practiced mostly TvT. That was why my final stage was quite tough.

- How was your match against forGG?
▲ I was ahead in terms of build and psychological warfare. I was in an advantage right from the first game, and in the second set, he chose 1 starport build but I went 2 starport build, so I won. My game with forGG was not that tough, but my finals against (P)Doctor.K was very tough.

- Following the previous OSL, you faced Doctor.K again.
▲ When I saw this OSL's groupings, I saw that together with Doctor.K and another player, there were two players that I also faced in the previous OSL preliminaries. Before the finals, I coincidentally saw Doctor.K's match on my way back from the toilet. That helped me greatly.

- You seemed too nervous in the previous OSL.
▲ Now, I have built up experience from playing in Proleague, so my problems that occur on stage will be less than the previous OSL.

- Any final words?
▲ My team's players are not performing well ever since the previous MSL preliminaries. We practiced really hard this time round, so I believe that more of my teammates who are playing in the afternoon will qualify.

+ Show Spoiler [Group H Winner - Shine[Kal] +
']
Shine[Kal]: "My game against Tossgirl nu-na was the toughest."
"I hope everyone from my team produces good results."

(Z)Shine[kaL] has successfully qualified this season's OSL after his win in his group H of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with Shine[Kal].

- Your thoughts on your qualification?
▲ I could not prepare well enough in the previous season so I was sadly eliminated, but now that I have qualified once more, I will show great matches.

- Your first game was against Tossgirl.
▲ I was burdened. But I practice with (T)ToSsGirL regularly, so I played with my mind at ease.

- How were today's matches?
▲ My match against Tossgirl nu-na was very tough. She did the spitfire rush, so I was really in a pinch. She did a 4-barracks spitfire rush and broke through my sunken defense line, so I almost lost. But she overdid her attack, so I somehow managed to make a comeback mid-game and win.

- Your target for this season?
▲ My group was tough so I did not expect myself to qualify, but now that I have qualified, my first target is to not get eliminated in the Round of 36 and get into the Round of 16 and take part in the group selection stages.

- Any final words?
▲ We did not practice much, but our team's players have solid foundations, so I believe all will qualify. I hope everyone from my team produces good results.

+ Show Spoiler [Group I Winner - s2] +

s2: "My ZvZ skills have improved."
"Thanks to TheZerg's recent performance, I am improving too."

(Z)s2 has successfully qualified for his first OSL after his win in group I of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with s2.

- Your thoughts on your first OSL qualification?
▲ I am happy as it is my first qualification. Many of my teammates were seeded from the previous season, so I am glad to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them.

- You played many ZvZs to qualify today.
▲ My game sense in ZvZ matches have sharpened. I play a lot of ZvZ in my team, and after (Z)MuMyung coach joined us, I focused heavily on ZvZ. My ZvZ skills have improved a lot.

- Did you thought you would be playing against Nada?
▲ I thought that (T)NaDa would be playing in the Round of 4, but a zerg player advanced instead. I was somewhat surprised, but since it was ZvZ, I felt comfortable.

- SKTelecom's Zerg players have been performing well recently.
▲ It has increased greatly as of late. MuMyung coach takes care of us especially well. He continues to watch our games behind our backs, and shows a lot of concern.

- Are you getting influenced by TheZerg's recent great performance?
▲ Since (Z)Thezerg is performing well, (Z)Hyuk and I decided to put on a better performance as well. I practiced hard to qualify today.

- Are there any players you want to face in the Round of 36?
▲ I have not thought of that yet. I think facing a Zerg would be convenient on my part.

+ Show Spoiler [Group J Winner - RorO] +

RorO: "I was sure I will qualify."
"This being my first OSL qualification, I will produce good results."

(Z)RorO has successfully qualified for his first OSL after his win in group J of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with RorO.

- Your thoughts on your first OSL qualification?
▲ I was confident in this preliminaries. I am satisified with qualifying for the OSL.

- How were your matches today?
▲ The finals against (P)SoO was the toughest. I won both games through making a comeback. I barely won.

- (Z)Shine[kaL] qualified too. The competitiveness between you two must be great.
▲ We have to be competitive. We will compete in both Proleague and in individual leagues to show our skills.

- It is being rated that the maps this season favor the zergs a lot.
▲ They are very favorable towards the zergs. Amongst them, Outsider seems the most favorable towards the zergs. On outsider, you can both macro and harass, so it is a map in which Zergs can have an easy time on.

- Your target this season?
▲ This being my first OSL qualification, I want to produce good results. It may be tough in the Proleague and MSL, but I will try my best to perform well everywhere.

- Any final words?
▲ I would like to say thanks to my fans who supported me, as well as my family who are supporting me from home. I hope my teammates who have yet to play will produce good results.

+ Show Spoiler [Group K Winner - Lomo] +

Lomo: "I chewed so much chewing gum that my chin hurts."
"Honestly speaking, I never practiced on Return of the King."

(T)Lomo has successfully qualified for this season's OSL after his win in group K of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with Lomo.

- Your thoughts on your OSL qualification?
▲ I chewed so much chewing gum that my chin hurts. I waited very long, and I played a lot of macro games so I was running out of stamina. I managed to make a comeback and win the last game to qualify, so I feel very good.

- You faced a lot of newcomers.
▲ I did not let my guard down just because they were new players. There was once in a preliminary where I lost heavily because I was too overconfident. I focused on my opponent's races, not their names.

- You said you made a comeback in the final match.
▲ In the final match, I lost the first game, and I almost lost the second game. But my opponent was too hasty because he wanted to end the game quickly.

- You have a chance in qualifying for both individual leagues.
▲ I am aiming for the the MSL qualification as well as making it into the Round of 16 in the OSL (laughs).

- You said you did not practice much for the preliminaries.
▲ Honestly speaking, I never practiced on Return of the King. Outsider and God's Garden is used in the Proleague, so I was okay with those maps. To tell you the truth, I did not have a lot of confidence today. But once I emptied my mind, my games somehow went smoothly.

- Any final words?
▲ (Z)Jaedong won the latest OSL, and I gained a lot from helping him with practice. I will work harder, so I hope you can look out for me, and I also hope my teammates perform well.

+ Show Spoiler [Group L Winner - Hyvaa] +

Hyvaa: "I will keep up my pace in the OSL."
"It is still too early to celebrate."

(Z)hyvaa has successfully qualified for this season's OSL after his win in group L of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with Hyvaa.

- Your thoughts on your OSL qualification?
▲ I was confident in the preliminaries. My condition was good and I had self-confidence. I just passed the preliminaries, so it is still too early to celebrate. I will have to at least get into the Round of 16 to start celebrating.

- There have been many Zerg players qualifying up til now. What do you think is the reason?
▲ It has to be the maps, as they favor the Zergs if you play standard. If the Terran or Protoss play mindgames then it will be tough, but as long as they play standard, the map favors the Zerg.

- You seem to be regaining your former composure.
▲ I won in the recent Proleague, and I have also passed the preliminaries. Now I have to keep up this pace and bring it to the OSL.

- Against who was your toughest match?
▲ It was against (T)MVP in the Round of 4. I lost in the first set, on a map I was confident on. That is why I lost some of my confidence in the second and third sets. MVP has a very versatile playing style, so I had a hard time playing against him. But he kept on using the same builds, so I learned to handle the game properly.

- Many eSTRO players were sadly eliminated in the preliminaries.
▲ Everyone played well and got til the finals, so I thought they would qualify. That is why I also put in a lot of effort. But when I qualified, I saw that I was the only one from my team who qualified. I feel very sad, but I hope the rest who are playing at night qualifies..

- Any final words?
▲ I could not practice much because of Proleague. Our team is close to the Samsung Khan players, and we talked a lot about the preliminaries. Samsung Khan's players performed well today. If they qualify and we meet, then I will have to win, but if we don't have to face each other, I hope all of us can produce good results.

+ Show Spoiler [Group M Winner - Thezerg] +

Thezerg: "I will take on any criticism."
"I think having the right mindset is most important."

(Z)Thezerg has successfully qualified for this season's OSL after his win in group M of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with Thezerg.

- Your thoughts on your OSL qualification?
▲ This is my first qualification after I joined SKTelecom, so it has a deep significance. In the previous Starleague, I immediately lost to (P)Kal and was eliminated (laughs).

- You went 9pool 3 times against (Z)YellOw in the finals.
▲ I feel sorry for Yellow and his fans, and I think I will hear many nasty things (laughs). But I was also one of the fans who hoped for YellOw's qualification. I was confident in my micro, so in order to display that to my fullest potential, I used the 9pool build 3 times consecutively.

- Were there any tough matches?
▲ I was only pressured psychologically, so the matches themselves were not that tough. I just just warming up for my upcoming wins. I will take on any criticism (laughs).

- Having defeated YellOw to qualify, you must feel pressured to perform well.
▲ I am trying to overcome that too. I will definitely make it into the Round of 16.

- Any targets for this OSL?
▲ It was not easy to start my mindset anew. When I qualify for a Starleague, it's a new start from that point onwards, but I have a tendency to loosen up too much. I cannot do that this time. Results are important, but I think having the right mindset is more important.

- Anything else you want to add on?
▲ I will immediately head back to practice for tomorrow's Proleague. I have no time to celebrate.

+ Show Spoiler [Group N Winner - Effort] +

Effort: "I believe I have the ability to get into the Round of 16 and beyond."
"I worked hard to optimize my condition, so I am glad that my games turned out well."

(Z)EffOrt has successfully qualified for this season's OSL after his win in group N of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with Effort.

- Your thoughts on your OSL qualification?
▲ I think I can only be happy after I get into the Round of 16. I am not that happy right now.

- Any tough matches?
▲ There were none. I just caught a slight flu so I did not practice a lot. I worked hard to optimize my condition, so I am glad that my games turned out well.

- How was your finals against (T)BaBy?
▲ I lost helplessly in the first game due to my scouting mistake and allowing his vultures to get through. The rest of the games proceeded the same as per during practice, and I won.

- You also qualified for your first MSL.
▲ My games are turning out well, that is why I qualified for both sides (OSL and MSL). By qualifying for the MSL, I gained a lot of confidence which I believe will be of great help in the future.

- Any words of willingness for your Round of 16 performance?
▲ I am confidence in all match ups. So long as I practice hard for each game without letting my guard down, I believe I can get into the Round of 16 and even beyond.

+ Show Spoiler [Group O Winner - Shuttle] +

Shuttle: "Tears started falling when I thought about my parents."
"I wasn't confident, so I am glad that I qualified."

(P)Shuttle has successfully qualified this season's OSL after his win in his group O of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with Shuttle.

- Your thoughts on your qualification for the OSL?
▲ I feel tears in my eyes because the games flowed the way I wanted and I managed to qualify.

- You started crying after you confirmed your qualification.
▲ I suddenly thought of my family. Tears started falling when my father and mother's faces came into my mind.

- Your recent performance hasn't been so good.
▲ My performance on the most important stage, the Proleague is not so good. I lost on important matches so I went through a lot of tough times. Even right before I qualified today, I was still not confident, so I am glad that I qualified.

- You are the first Protoss to qualify.
▲ It was tough. It is very tough to play standard against Terran or Zerg. Maps were not in my favor, and my confidence was low as well.

- Your target for this season?
▲ I lost to a Zerg in the previous OSL, so I will prepare hard against Zergs so that I will not regret ever again.

- Any final words?
▲ I will say what is on my mind when my skills improve and I win more games. I will improve, looking forward to that day.

+ Show Spoiler [Group P Winner - GoRush] +

GoRush: "I want to be the first from ACE to win an individual tournament."
"I am happy because I passed the preliminaries in the shortest time after joining ACE."

(Z)GoRush has successfully qualified for this season's OSL after his win in group P of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with GoRush.

- Your thoughts on your OSL qualification?
▲ After my recent entry into ACE, I played my first Proleague match, but I was unable to do anything in that match and lost so disappointingly. I think my coach was looking forward to my performance, so I think he must have felt disappointed. I did not prepare much for today, but luckily I cleared the preliminaries, so I feel that my skills are being recognized, even if it's just a bit. I heard that I passed the preliminaries in the shortest time after joining ACE, so I am even more happy.

- Your hardest game?
▲ I don't think there were any tough games. I thought that if I were to play against Iris, it would be the toughest, and the match really happened. That is why the game against Iris was the toughest.

- Even after your entry to ACE, you passed your last preliminaries.
▲ I originally show strength against in the preliminaries. I tend to center my games around mind games, and in the preliminaries, mind games are important. And I went through a lot of preliminaries before, so I think my experience is paying off. The advantage that older players have is that they went through a lot of preliminaries. Newcomers nowadays make their debut in Proleague and stay active there, so it becomes hard for them to stack up experience in the preliminaries.

- Were you confident that you will qualify?
▲ I came here with that mindset. There were many times where I was eliminated when I did not think that way. I believe that in order to produce good results, I have to have confidence and have those mindsets.

- Did you practice a lot?
▲ I am still a Private, so there are many things to do, hence I did not practice much. I am a soldier before I am a player, so there are a lot of things for me to do. I worked hard to get used to the army life. But strangely enough, even after coming back from the training academy, my game sense was still alive. I think my past experiences that accumulated helped me more than practice. Also, the overall gaming trend did not change so much.

- You are the first from ACE to qualify.
▲ I feel shaky. I don't know if I can do well. I need to concentrate on Proleague for now. But I have promised my fans, and I am also the second person in ACE to have won a Starleague, so I want to perform well in individual leagues. Our team isn't performing well in Proleague, so I have to perform mcuh better in the OSL to uphold the image and pride of ACE.

- Any final words?
▲ My coach believed in me a lot, and many of my seniors took care of the new recruits who made a lot of mistakes. That is why I was able to attain good results today. I told my fans that I wanted to win (a title) after joining ACE, and now that I have a chance, I want to take a shot at it.I will show exciting games to all my fans who waited so long for me.

+ Show Spoiler [Group Q Winner - Light] +

Light: "All I can say is I must do well."
"I was tired of waiting."

(T)Light has successfully qualified for this season's OSL after his win in group Q of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with Light.

- Your thoughts on your OSL qualification?
▲ Too many players from my team were eliminated than I thought. Even (T)Sea got eliminated, so I tried my best not to get eliminated and disgrace our team.

- The waiting time was long.
▲ I thought it would end early as my group was the first group in the afternoon shift. I had to play against one of the winners of the match between these two players, and they played really long. I was tired of waiting.

- How were today's preliminaries?
▲ The match against KTF's (P)Stats was the hardest. In the final match, I was at a disadvantage, but he made a few mistakes, being a newcomer. That was how I managed to make a comeback.

- Any words to show your determination?
▲ I will prepare well this time round and put up a good performance in this OSL. All I can say is that I have to do well as I had performed so badly not so long ago.

+ Show Spoiler [Group R Winner - Casy] +

Casy: "I am even happier than when I won my OSL."
"I am still trembling from excitement."

(T)Casy has successfully qualified for this season's OSL after his win in group R of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with Casy.

- Your thoughts on your OSL qualification?
▲ I feel really good. I am still trembling from excitement. I did not expect myself to qualify, but somehow I did, so I feel really good. I am even happier than when I won my OSL.

- How were your matches?
▲ They turned out better than I thought. I practiced TvP a lot so I was confident. I was sent out once in Proleague to defeat Protoss, but I could not so it was disappointing. Actually I was most worried about my TvZ today, but my results turned out well, so that's a relief.

- Then your Round of 8 matches must have been tough.
▲ They were tough. I had to win on Return of the King but I lost. Luckily I was able to win the next two matches to make a comeback and win.

- The players who qualified from ACE are yourself and GoRush.
▲ We came here with confidence that we will all qualify. I am glad that I qualified together with Private (Z)GoRush, and I am saddened by the fact that the rest did not make it past the preliminaries.

- How was your practice?
▲ I practiced yesterday, just for one day. I did not practice against Protoss and Terran a lot, and practiced against Zergs with the mindset of "I just have to win the Round of 8", but the matches did not turn out well so I was worried. Luckily, I was able to win in the Round of 8 and keep up my momentum and qualify.

- Any words to show your determination to perform in the OSL?
▲ I was very lucky. In the actual Starleague, I will practice hard and put on a good performance.

- Any final words?
▲ Many of my fans have been looking forward to me, so I am glad that I qualified, and I promise I will put on a good performance, so I hope everyone can continue looking forward to me.

+ Show Spoiler [Group S Winner - Ruby] +

Ruby: "I only did my best."
"I will do my best until my enlistment."

(T)RuBy has successfully qualified for this season's OSL after his win in group S of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with Ruby.

- Your thoughts on your OSL qualification?
▲ I qualified with just days before my entry into the army, so I feel very weird. I am happy that I qualified, but if I get into the Round of 16, I won't be able to participate in it, so I'll end up feeling bad for those who I eliminated in the preliminaries.

- How did your practice go?
▲ I stayed at home because of my enlistment issue, so I had yet to adjust to the new maps, but luckily I got a lot of help from my teammates when I returned. I practiced mainly against Zerg, and I played only against Zergs and qualified. I think I was lucky.

- Because of your enlistment, you may have to give up playing in the OSL.
▲ That is why if I win, I'll be glad but I can play as though it wouldn't matter if I lose, but that will only ruin my image. That is why I will try my hardest to put on my best performance.

- You also have to play in the Survivor Tournament.
▲ The Survivor Tournament is on the 7th of May, but since it is an official match, I will do my best so that I can advance.

- It will not be long before your enlistment. How do you feel?
▲ It will take some time before my enlistment results are revealed, so I feel anxious. I want to quickly get enlisted and put on a good performance.

- Any final words?
▲ I think that the ACE seniors lost their game sense for a moment because of their training. I want to quickly join the team once they regain their game sense and pull up ACE's record. I want to leave a strong impression while in ACE, and I will work hard to be a progamer who everyone can love.

+ Show Spoiler [Group T Winner - Canata] +

Canata: "I will put on a good performance and get into the Round of 16."
"My previous prelims did not go so well so I could not qualify."

(T)Canata has successfully qualified for this season's OSL after his win in group T of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with Canata.

- You have successfully qualified for your first OSL in three years.
▲ I was supposed to be able to remain in the OSL. But because of the decision-makings that were going on within our team, I gave up on the Dual Tournament. After that, I went through 4 prelims and it has taken 3 years to finally qualify. That is why I am happier than anyone else today.

- You have felt very disappointed because of your decision to give up on the Dual Tournament.
▲ I thought that the decision-making will take a long time, but I got to take part in the next prelims right afterwards. In the following prelims, I could not perform so I did not qualify.

- How were the prelims?
▲ The brackets I had prepared for was facing Prootss in the Round of 8, Terran in the Round of 4 and Terran once again in the Finals. I recently lost to Terrans in the finals a lot. (T)sKyHigh has been performing very great lately, so I practiced TvT a lot, and that has helped me greatly.

- You went for a macro-orientated game in the finals.
▲ In the second game, I was initially at a disadvantage. It was so much that I wanted to quit. But I continued playing because even if I were to lose, I wanted to lose after trying everything I could, and somehow I made a comeback and won. I feel really happy. I was at a disadvantage so there was so much I could do. If I was at an advantage I would have ended the game earlier.

- Your willingness to perform in the OSL?
▲ I am going to play in the Round of 36 as though it isn't the actual OSL. I will prepare for the Round of 36 as though it were the prelims, and I will definitely get into the Round of 16.

- Any final words?
▲ Since I worked so hard to qualify for this OSL, I will play many exciting games in the Round of 36 and qualify, so I look forward to everyone's support.

+ Show Spoiler [Group U Winner - GuemChi] +

GuemChi: "Since I qualified so late, I want to produce even better results."
"Through this preliminaries, I felt that I have to upgrade myself even further."

(P)GuemChi has successfully qualified for his first OSL after his win in group U of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with GuemChi.

- Your thoughts on your first OSL qualification?
▲ It has been over two years since my debut as a Progamer, and finally I made my first OSL qualification. Since I qualified so late, I want to produce even better results.

- How did your practice go?
▲ There is a Proleague match tomorrow so I could not practice much, but my senses were alive so I had confidence.

- There are so far only two Protosses who have qualified.
▲ This season's maps favor the Zergs a lot. I think even luck is not on Protoss' side.

- How did your games go?
▲ I won the first set of the finals against (T)HiyA, but (in the second set), I lost my advantage and lost to Hiya's comeback, so I was heavily shaken. In the last set, my strategy was discovered so I was lost, but my opponent let his guard down so I was able to win.

- Your target for this season?
▲ It took way too long for me to pass the preliminaries. I felt that I have to upgrade myself even further through this preliminary. I will reinvent myself and put on a great performance for this season's OSL. My target for now is to get into the Round of 16 and take part in the group selection.

- Any final words?
▲ I hope my teammates will play well and qualify together with me.

+ Show Spoiler [Group V Winner - Pure] +

Pure: "I will etch my name into all the fans' minds."
"My win yesterday reflected on today's win."

(P)Pure has successfully qualified for this season's OSL after his win in group V of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with Pure.

- You qualified for both leagues.
▲ I qualified for the MSL yesterday so I played very comfortably today. I think I was less nervous today than yesterday. I hope I will do well and not get eliminated early in both leagues.

- You have been performing well lately.
▲ I won yesterday so my momentum has built up. I think yesterday's win helped me to play today with my mind at ease. I was eliminated early in the actual Starleague last season, so I will work hard to get far this time round.

- How were the prelims?
▲ There were no specially tough matches. My finals was against free so I anticipated a tough match, but I am ahead in my head-to-head score against him, so I played with confidence.

- You will get busy soon. It seems that it will be hard to find time to practice now.
▲ I will definitely feel pressured. That is why I will slowly, but steadily practice for the individual leagues. Proleague is of highest priority, so I will center my practice around Proleague while steadily practicing for the individual leagues in the long run.

- Your target for this season?
▲ As long as I qualify for an individual league, it will the winning the tournament. Even if I can't accomplish that this season, there is always the next season, so I always work hard with winning the finals being my target.

- Any final words?
▲ I will work hard to etch my name into many fans' heads.

+ Show Spoiler [Group W Winner - IrOn] +

IrOn: "I will show that even MBCGame has newcomers."
"I knew I was going to qualify when I defeated Sangho."

(P)IrOn has successfully qualified for his first OSL on his first attempt after his win in group W of the Bacchus OSL 2009 Preliminaries, held on the 1st of May at the Yongsan e-Sports Indoor Stadium.

The following is the interview with IrOn.

- Your thoughts on qualifying for the OSL on your first attempt?
▲ I think I was very lucky. I feel really high now.

- Including yourself, three players from MBCGame qualified.
▲ I wanted to qualify with all my seniors, so I am disappointed that that can't happen. I was especially shocked when I heard that (T)Sea was eliminated. I think I helped my coach to feel proud, so I am happy.

- You will have to start playing live.
▲ I had played a broadcasted game when I was an amateur player during the Gamei Clan Competition. I even have experience playing in the WCG, so I don't think I'll be very nervous. I will prepare well and put up a good performance.

- How were today's games?
▲ When I defeated (P)SangHo, I knew I was going to qualify. I was once a practice partner for the eSTRO players, so I know Sangho very well.

- What is your best match up?
▲ I usually like to play against Zerg, but I could not play against Zergs today. I thought (Z)oDin will advance, but it turned out differently from what I expected.

- Any final words?
▲ I lost to (T)GanZi in the previous Survivor preliminaries and was eliminated. The situation today was similar, but I am happy that I got my revenge. I will work hard and silence those who say that there are no newcomers in my team.

Seems like go.go learned a little bit of manners, you can tell he's putting in the effort into trying to sound modest. But he still seems pretty arrogant imo. I'm even surprised he has fans, or at least he claims he does

Thought no one was reading them... felt really demotivated to do the rest of the 15 translations.
My translations keep getting pushed down the list and hardly anyone reads them so.. =/
Not trying to be an attentional seeker or anything, but I really feel kinda unmotivated when I put in a lot of effort but not a lot of people get to read it.

By the way since you already have spoiler warning in thread title, write the group winners in OP, like "+ Show Spoiler [Group E Winner - go.go] +" Makes it easier to read and reread the iviews of specific player you want.

Thats absolutely understandable i did translations too. Just don't overdo it and translate the most interesting insightful ones or if there is a top player like Flash so you won't get tired. You don't need to translate the entire prelims, Smix did that a lot and then disappeared =\.

But i will gladly read all of them if you do them. There is just not much to comment on other than Thanks konadora

Thanks, great suggestion!

Btw, I am not trying to seek attention or anything. It's just that I want everyone to read the translations so that they can learn more and all, but it somehow always get buried, so I feel rather sad with that.

Apparently MuMyung is doing quite a job training the zerg recruits. Thezerg has been winning all his games in proleague since the beginning of round 4 and now s2 manages to get past the OSL prelims.

Quite unexpected imo.

I always check for interview translations after matches. I've been leaving this thread up to refresh for updates. My only complaint is that there is no forum for them. I think these interviews are important enough and frequent enough to warrant one..

Your efforts are very appreciated.

Okay I want to do translations of interviews whom people are most interested in, so I'll ask here.
Whose interviews do you want to read first?

Is spitfire rush the same as the "sparks terran" thing?

I like how these interviews ask players about their thoughts on specific games, much more interesting replies than the typical "oh I'll try my best, thank you to fans, etc."

I'll wait for a few more responses before I decide which ones to start translating first.

P.S: If any mod sees this, can they please change my wrongly-spelt name in the front page?

These translations are awesome, thanks! Like many others, I've read every single one.

I'd like to see Light, IrOn, and Pure's interviews(I would mention Gorush and Casy, but they've already been translated)

My post was buried on the previous page, but the GoRush and Casy interviews are already in Blog section:

No, this is not an advertisement, just in case someone didn't notice...

As for what more I'd like, IrOn and Light would be very much appreciated!

edit: went to fomos and found out. apparently, it was effort and baby in finals. baby took game 1 using vultures, effort owned the next two.

konadora: Thanks for all of your work, man. To be honest, I'm much more interested in your translations of the Proleague winners' interviews- those I just devour :p

Reading what Shine[Kal] or RorO have to say... doesn't really interest me. I read s2's interview (as an SKT1 fan ), and laughed at Lomo's comment on his chin hurting from chewing so much gum... but I didn't read the rest.

If these interviews are a lot of work for you and you feel demotivated if not a lot of people read them... don't do them, I guess. The last thing we want to happen is for you to get burned out and stop providing us with your translations ^^

I'm sure some will disagree with me, but predictable interviews from lesser-known players aren't exciting for me. I will, however, continue to avidly read any Proleague winners' translations you make ^^
Go here http://vina.biobiochile.cl/ and input the Konami Code (up up down down left right left right B A)

- There have been many Zerg players qualifying up til now. What do you think is the reason?
▲ It has to be the maps, as they favor the Zergs if you play standard. If the Terran or Protoss play mindgames then it will be tough, but as long as they play standard, the map favors the Zerg.
